With big time wins over in-state programs like [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] 17u UA Rise, [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 3SGB, and Progeny 17u UAA. The backcourt has fueled the success all spring. 6'2” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2414954' first='Chase' last='Devine'] (Bremen) and 6'3” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2622069' first='Joban' last='Kalkat'] (Whiteland) make up a two headed monster in the backcourt. Devine is as versatile of a scorer as there is in the state. Knockdown shooter with a physical frame that plays well off the bounce. Kalkat is a crafty ball dominant guard that has been on a scoring tear from all over. Crafty scorer that can get to his spots in the lane and finish while also being a good three-point shooter. The Frontcourt is led by the duo of 6'5” Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2426066' first='Samarcus' last='Gipson'] (Elkhart) and 6'5” Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2141011' first='Preston' last='Johnson'] (Zionsville). Both are long and athletic forwards that impact the game in the paint on both ends. Gipson is a big time defender with length that alters shots at the rim at a high level. Johnson is versatile on the offensive end with his ability to score around the as well as his rebounding prowess.

Indiana Basketball Club 2027 Gold

A team I've gotten to see multiple times throughout the spring. Indiana Basketball Club is off to a fast start already clinching their spot at the 3SSB Championship in July. Have shown the ability to play any style. The backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id='2907635' first='Bo' last='Washington'] (Pike) and [player_tooltip player_id='2140420' first='Nash' last='Sigmund'] (Decatur Central) are a dynamic duo that puts so much pressure on the defense. Washington is a true point guard that has been great at getting his teammates involved while being essentially unstoppable at getting to the basket. Sigmund is one of the premier shooters in the state of Indiana. Has the ability to get going in a hurry. Does a good job getting himself open and being shot ready with deep range. 6'5” 2027 W [player_tooltip player_id='2470635' first='Levi' last='Walker'] (Fishers) is coming off a breakout junior season has kept up the momentum and has improved in every facet of the game. Has become a reliable three-point shooter while still showing the ability to downhill and using his size and athleticism to punish the rim. Has the chance to become a real hot commodity the rest of the spring and summer.

One of the more intriguing teams through the spring is the talented Progeny 2028 UAA squad that has shown unreal potential. From having a steady guard in [player_tooltip player_id='2538843' first='Braxton' last='Bowman'] (Crawford County), a defensive minded pass first point guard that sets the table for his teammates to [player_tooltip player_id='2297505' first='Jaece' last='Vogt'] (West Lafayette), one of the best pure scorers in the state that has shown the ability to take over games, to the front court duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2539953' first='Jarrett' last='Harris'] (Indianapolis Lutheran) and [player_tooltip player_id='2617866' first='Jaylin' last='Foster'] (Secina Memorial). Harris is a supreme athlete that can make plays above the rim on both ends of the floor while Foster is quickly becoming one of the more versatile players in the Indiana in-state class of 2028 with his inside-out game and defensive impact. This team is full of playmakers and has more than enough athleticism to compete with anyone in the UAA.

A team I got to see back in early April and just love the productivity and potential of, [program_tooltip program_id='3587267' first='Indiana' last='Impact'] is led by the Jimtown Trio of 5'10” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2442397' first='Jackson' last='Woolwine'], 6'2” Wing [player_tooltip player_id='2442377' first='Zander' last='Whitaker'], and 6'3” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2617841' first='Dominic' last='Fey']. Woolwine is a big time playmaker that does a good job balancing his scoring opportunities with getting his teammates open looks, while Whitaker and Fey are absolute dogs on the offensive end that have one job and that's to get buckets. Both are versatile offensive weapons that score in a variety of different ways. The Front Court has an intriguing piece in [player_tooltip player_id='2442371' first='Koltyn' last='Frye'] (Fairfield) that has shown a lot of versatility in his game on both ends of the floor and is trending more as a wing. A real connected group that plays extremely hard. A full team that small colleges should be keeping an eye out for the next couple years.

He's a fluid athlete with good length that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. He's wired to score and is able to do it in many different ways but thrives in the mid post. 6'2” 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2881715' first='Boomer' last='Minch'] (Scecina Memorial) is a smooth, sharpshooting guard that can get going in a hurry. Capable of playing on and off the ball, he does a good job getting himself open and has a knack for getting to his spots. 6'6” 2028 Forward [player_tooltip player_id='3038275' first='Aiden' last='Makun'] (Silver Creek) is only the scratching the surface of his potential. The long and athletic forward knows how to use his worry body to alter shots and rebound on the defensive end while being a big time play finisher around the rim on the offensive end. With all this length and athleticism, 6'2” 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2617826' first='Davis' last='Baker'] (Lawrence North) provides three-point shooting along with Minch.
Arguably the top 15u team in the entire country, [program_tooltip program_id='2317250' first='Indiana' last='Elite 3SSB'] 2029 is a team full of men amongst boys when it comes to the opposition. Led by the Front Court of 6'8” Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2963352' first='Bob' last='Da Silva'] (Andrews Osborne Academy, OH) and 6'8” Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2385390' first='Max' last='Hopkins'] (Fishers), Indiana Elite can throw out big lineups and not lose anything in the skill department with those two. Both are versatile bigs that rebound and defend at a high level. 6'0” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2956681' first='Will' last='Tonagel'] (Oak Hill) is a game changer at the point guard position. The lefty guard controls the game in all aspects balancing his scoring and facilitating. Two other backcourt mates in 6'2” [player_tooltip player_id='2860080' first='Tristan' last='Breland'] and 6'3” [player_tooltip player_id='2888227' first='Karson' last='Stoudemire'] round out the starting five. Breland is a dynamic guard that thrives in the open floor. Lightning quick from end to end with high level athleticism.
A well coached team that plays extremely hard and is well connected. It all starts at the lead guard spot with 5'11” [player_tooltip player_id='3033224' first='Jayden' last='Kennedy'] (Cathedral). The physically built, lightning quick, athletic guard is a big time player with the ball in his hands. Able to get downhill and use his athleticism to get shots at the rim while not forcing the issue and keeping teammates involved. 6'0” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2967107' first='Wyatt' last='Wilkins'] (Floyd Central) is an uber athletic combo guard that just knows how to get buckets. Really good shooter coming off screens while staying in attack mode getting in the lane for buckets at the rim. 6'5” [player_tooltip player_id='2972974' first='Wyatt' last='Frazier'] (Evansville Mater Dei) has been on a tear this spring shooting the ball from 3. Long and athletic wing that is really good as a stationary shooter or coming off screens. Stays balanced off screens and has impressive lift in his shot. The Front Court of 6'7” Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2892383' first='Corey' last='Brown'] (Gary Lighthouse) and 6'8” Forward/Center [player_tooltip player_id='2927921' first='Cayden' last='McCreanor'] is as intriguing of a frontcourt as I've seen this spring. Both are big time rebounders, Brown continues to improve his perimeter skills as a stationary shooter and driver. At 6'7” he's a matchup problem with his athleticism and quick first step getting to the basket. McCreanor is a matchup problem on the low block with good footwork and soft touch. Has shown the ability to face up and hit the jumper with range that can stretch out to the three-point line.

Calvin is relentless getting to the basket using his size to his advantage. Dease is a smooth operator on the offensive end with the ability to score from all three levels along with intriguing playmaking skills for his size. From the lead guard spot, 6'0” [player_tooltip player_id='3033255' first='JT' last='Rink'] (Culver Academy) is a heady left handed guard that can really shoot it. Really good in pick and roll situations and if he gets any clear space he's knocking down a shot. 6'8” Center [player_tooltip player_id='3581008' first='Dominique' last='Jennings'] (Culver Academy) is a high potential big man that gets better every time I see him. Extremely active defender in the paint as a shot blocker as well as big time rebounder.
