This freshman prospect is just special, and that was on full display in Fishers’ dominant win over Fort Wayne Wayne. He was one of his team’s leading scorers, and the best part about his performance was that he just let the game come to him. He did a great job of feeding off what his teammates were giving him, scoring at the rim and hitting a few smooth jumpers. One of the few freshmen in the state who is a varsity starter, he is going to be real special.

Our one and only freshman on this watch listen comes from Fishers High School and that guy is guard Tristan Breland Tristan Breland 6'2" | PG Fishers | 2029 State IN . While he is still trying to find his rhythm as a freshman starter, this is no denying that Breland is one of the highest rated freshman prospects we have in the state of Indiana. Breland is giving the Tigers 3.0 points per game so far and is athletic enough already to compete on both ends of the floor. He makes plays off the bounce, can hit tough jumpers, and be a defensive presence at all times.

Fishers is absolutely loaded in the backcourt with two high-major Division I level junior guards. However, that won’t keep Breland from carving out a role right away as a freshman. The 6’2″ athletic guard played with the Tigers at the varsity level throughout June and was a key piece for Progeny 15u on the UAA Circuit while playing up a year. He is incredibly smooth with the ball in his hands, can create his own shot from multiple levels, and is explosive end-to-end. Breland is certainly in the conversation for the top spot in Indiana’s Class of 2029.

After missing Week Two at the Metro Indy Fall League, this Fishers High School freshman was back on Sunday and instantly made his presence felt. The 6’2″ left-handed guard is one of the top Class of 2029 prospects in the state and certainly showed that with his play on the floor. He made some really tough perimeter jump shots, a few coming off of the bounce that he created himself, and plays with a pace and poise that is well beyond his age. The Fishers backcourt is loaded, but Breland will provide depth from day one.

Even while playing up an age division, Breland proved to be one of the best guards at the 15u level over the weekend. The 6’1″ left-handed guard for Progeny was a consistent scorer and playmaker proving himself as one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2029.

When our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase comes around in the fall and we start to rank an evaluate Class of 2029 prospects there is no doubt that Breland will be among the top in the class. The 6’2″ left-handed guard is so athletic, has great positional size, and matches it all with a high skill level for his young age. He played very well on Saturday morning scoring 14 points, primarily in the second half, to help Progeny UAA secure a 60-55 win over Refined Indiana 15u.
