A lot of eyes will always turn to the senior backcourt of Fishers, but it is worth noting that the Tigers have a hoss down low.

is entering into sophomore year and is going to play a pivotal role for Fishers this season as the main guy in the frontcourt. He was really good defensively throughout Charlie Hughes while being pretty consistent as a scorer in the low post.

The top 5 2029 Indiana Prospect is stepping into a bigger role this season for the Fishers Tigers and he looked the part as a true impact player. Mobile big man with skill on the offensive end. Has the ability to play in the middle of the floor as a playmaker. Good court vision out of the post when double teams come. Has shown he can hit catch and shoot 3’s as well as driving closeouts. Good rebounder with soft touch around the rim. Defensively he’s able to switch on the perimeter and contain guards while still being able to impact drives to the rim.

of Fishers HS. The the 6’8 power forward is now int he starting lineup for the Tigers and gives them a big advantage int he post. Hopkins is a high motor player that competes on the glass, makes the little plays, and can be a straight force under the basket. He is only getting better and better.

Hopkins is a dominant athlete at the 15 U level as the multi-sport standout dominated for an Indiana Elite 15 U squad that is running roughshod though the 3SSB circuit so far. Hopkins is physical, wants to play above the rim, crashes the offensive glass and throws his weight around. All of these skills allow him to overpower the mostly skinnier bigs that he sees at the 15 U level. Hopkins is incredibly efficient because a majority of his shots come within five feet or less due to his physical advantages. Already holding a pair of Division I football offers, Hopkins could generate some Division I interest on the hardwood when college coaches spend more time watching class of 2029 prospects.

One of the top freshmen in the state of Indiana, Hopkins is making an impact in the front court for one of the best teams in the Midwest. The 6’8″ forward has carved out a spot in the Fishers Tigers’ rotation and had one of his best performances on Saturday night scoring 7 points while grabbing 4 rebounds in a win over New Albany. His size, strength, and agility as a freshman is very impressive.

Hopkins is already 6’7″ with a strong build for a freshman. He holds his own on the glass and isn’t afraid to physically bang around on the interior with guys older, bigger, and stronger than he is as an incoming freshman. The Fishers High School forward was in the rotation throughout the month of June for the defending Class 4A State Runner-Up and was very effective playing both 14u and 15u for Indy Heat on the EYBL Circuit in the summer.

Simply by nature of Fishers being at most of the big time events in June we have had the opportunity to see Hopkins play a handful of times this month now. The 6’7″ incoming freshman forward continues to impress us with his athleticism and poise for his age in the Tigers’ front court. Simply being able to carve out a role as a freshman at Fishers means you are one of the best in your class. However, Hopkins flashes plenty of skills that drive that home even further. It will be fun to watch his progression over the years to come.

This 6’7” forward has already proven himself to be one of the top incoming freshmen in the state and that was certainly true once again on Saturday at IU Team Camp. He runs the floor incredibly well for his size, has excellent hands around the basket, and finished several layups around the basket throughout the day. Hopkins has shot the ball at a very high level from three-point range while playing up a year with Indy Heat 15u on the EYBL Circuit as well. Look for him to make an instant impact for Fishers High School this coming season.
