When you have two of the best guards in the state in the class behind you it can make it hard to get the opportunities necessary for college coaches to recognize your talent. Fishers High School has had an elite-level backcourt throughout Williams’ career. He started to factor in the equation last season as a junior and now will be a primary rotation piece as a senior. The 6’1″ guard is super athletic, is a dangerous straight line driver, and will be an impactful defender at the next level from day one. Williams may continue to fly under-the-radar, but he could be a steal at the small college level.

Fishers brings back a good amount of production from last season but are still going to have a bunch of holes to fill as well. The 6-foot-1 athletic wing is already one of the top under-the-radar names we have in the state and has been slowly rising as a prospect to watch this spring with the Indiana Basketball Club. Williams has length and high defensive efforts that make him standout and will be able to provide that for Fishers next season. He is going to be one to watch in June.

However, playing at Fishers, the 6’1″ guard has had to wait his turn a bit longer. Williams used his length, athleticism, and excellent defensive ability to earn some minutes throughout his junior season, but he is now really ready to breakout over the summer and going into his senior season with the Tigers. He played well with Indiana Basketball Club Select 3SGB on Saturday morning. Definitely one of the top “under-the-radar” names, but that will likely change in the coming months.

There are obviously plenty of standouts on Fishers, but this under-the-radar junior guard will be one to follow going forward. Williams has earned himself some rotation minutes this season with his length, quickness, athleticism, and ability to meet the standards of the Tigers defensively. He played a valuable role off of the bench in both games on Friday at the Fishers Holiday Classic and deserved some recognition for his efforts.
