Baker has made the jump from Fishers’ junior varsity as a junior after transferring in from Texas to starting games for the Tigers this summer. He is an athletic 6’3″ wing that can score it in a variety of ways. We have had the chance to see him knock in shots from the perimeter, use his athleticism to attack the rim, and everything in between. He has some real two-way upside on the perimeter and could have a breakout senior season coming while playing with the likely preseason #1 team in Indiana.

Throughout the month of June we saw this 6’4″ wing play a big role for the Fishers Tigers who will likely enter the season as the #1 ranked team in the state. Baker shot it well from three-point range on Saturday and showed off his athleticism as a finisher at the rim. His well-rounded offensive game will provide an extra pop for Fishers aside from their two star guards. Playing with Always Grind Never Settle 17u, Baker is a solid under-the-radar rising senior to watch.

A long and athletic move in from Texas, Micaiah Baker Micaiah Baker 6'4" | SF/SG Fishers | 2027 State IN is an all-around player that kept Fishers in the game with his size, length and skill. Versatile defender that was aggressive in passing lanes. Also showed the ability to block shots as a help side defender, as well as in transition. Offensively he made plays off the catch with straight line drives to the basket and was an efficient scorer around the basket. Showed a capable stroke from three, but his shot is a work in progress.
