UIndy Elite Camp | Team Black Evaluations

The University of Indianapolis Elite Camp brought together a talented group of prospects looking to showcase their abilities in front of the Greyhounds' coaching staff. The 25 prospects in attendance were split among four teams, providing an extended look at how each player impacted the game within a team setting. Here's a breakdown of the prospects on Team Black:    Possibly the best overall prospect at camp. [player_tooltip player_id='2560369' first='Grayson' last='Alvey'] did what he has come accustomed to doing. He controlled every scrimmage like a true point guard. He was able to score in a variety of different ways as well as create opportunities for his teammates. Physical guard that is a high IQ player that competes on every possession. Lets the game come to him without forcing the issue. Knows when he needs to be aggressive and showed the ability to go out and get a bucket when his team needed it.     Insane athlete that flashed his skills all day long at camp. Fishers Product [player_tooltip player_id='3142197' first='Micaiah' last='Baker'] is as intriguing of a prospect as I saw today. Long and athletic 6'4” Wing that made plays on both sides of the ball. Struggled a bit from three, but was able to get a couple to fall throughout the scrimmages. Really good getting in the lane and finishing at the rim. Used his length to defend multiple positions and turned defense to offense on multiple occasions with deflections and blocking shots at the rim.     Raw 2028 prospect out of Indianapolis Lutheran that got into a groove late in the day in the last scrimmage. Long and lanky prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='3730645' first='Reginald' last='Cross Jr'] made plays inside the paint and from the perimeter. Knocked down a couple jumpers and played with a high motor rebounding well all camp long. Potential breakout year ahead for him this season.     First time getting to see the sharpshooting 2027 Guard out of Greensburg and loved the energy that he plays with. [player_tooltip player_id='2140380' first='Jacoby' last='Miller'] plays the game with a joy that his teammates feed off of. Talented offensive talented that is more comfortable playing off the ball. Excellent cutter that understands how to get himself open. On balanced shooter with deep range and quick trigger. Also showed his ability to beat his man off the dribble and create looks in the lane for himself as well as others.     An under the radar prospect out of Tecumseh that really showed his potential today. More of a point guard but played off the ball today. He's a player that can fit in well with anybody as his teammates and he's simply going to do what he does on the floor, which is make winning plays on both sides of the ball. Was really good defensively creating steals in help side position as well as rebounding from the guard spot. Jump shot has a bit of a hitch and is a question mark if he wants to play at the next level, but was able to knock down a few off the catch while also getting in the lane and showing his finishing ability with either hand.     Smaller guard that plays with a high motor and made plays on the defensive side of the ball. Rebounded really well in the last scrimmage as well as showed he can create his own shot on the offensive end. Struggled a bit getting his shot to fall, but took good looks and let the offense come to him. Hard nosed defender that was able to pressure opposing guards and make it difficult on his matchup.
