Alvey’s excellent summer continued at Marian University’s Elite Camp. The 6’2″ left-handed guard was so smooth with the ball in his hands both as a scoring threat and as a playmaker. He has the ability to create his own shot from multiple levels and has really showcased his passing ability as well. We fully expect Alvey to have a breakout junior season for Center Grove.

Started for the Trojans as a sophomore and will look for his production to take a jump as the veteran point guard.

One of the moments of the spring was at Prep Hoops The Stage when Marlin Academy P32 16u upset Indiana Elite 3SSB 16u. Alvey was a big part of that upset including hitting the game-winner to seal the deal. The 6’2″ guard from Center Grove has had a breakout spring beyond just that one game as well. He is very talented with the ball in his hands and appears to be an up-and-coming playmaker to watch. Alvey is ranked #85 now in our rankings.

Playing with Marlin Academy this spring, I got a chance to watch him at the PH Indiana State Tournament being one of the more impressive prospects I saw the enitre weekend. He was great on the attack being a really good finisher as well as finding easy dish-offs to the frontcourt, as well. Real tough yet smooth mid-ranger jumper as well.

A nice left handed guard that may not be under the radar for much longer. Has made big plays over the course of the spring AAU season including a game winning bucket over Indiana Elite 2028 3SSB at Prep Hoops The Stage. Has a bit of an unorthodox game to him. Crafty lefty that can play on or off the ball. Good decision maker. Puts a lot of pressure on the rim offensively while being a capable three-point shooter.
