The leading scorer returns for a Tecumseh team that brings back 100% of production from last season as well as adding two newcomers that will make significant impacts on the varsity. Damon Oxley Damon Oxley 6'0" | PG Tecumseh | 2027 IN has been a staple in the Braves rotation since tournament time of his freshman season, and this upcoming season should be his best season yet. Crafty 6’1” guard has the ultimate green light in the offense and he controls it well. Flirted with triple-double on multiple occasions last season. Does a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. Once he gets going, he’s a tough cover for any guard in the area. Relentless driver that finishes well with both hands around the basket. Jump shot is a bit streaky but is comfortable taking off both the catch and the dribble. Really nice playmaker for others and has good instincts defensively as well as a rebounder at the guard spot.

A talented junior guard down in southwestern Indiana, Oxley nearly posted a triple-double on Wednesday night. The 6’0″ playmaker finished with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists to lead Tecumseh to a 76-74 victory over Liberty Christian. He is a solid under-the-radar guard in the Class of 2027.

The junior guard out of Tecumseh had a stellar two games in Week 3 of the Pocket City Fall League scoring 20 points in Game 1 and 30 points in a win in Game 2. The lead guard was able to impact the game in a variety of different ways. Besides his scoring he was rebounding his position on both ends of the floor with a handful of offensive rebounds throughout the day. He utilizes a plus wingspan on the defensive end to play passing lanes. He controls the tempo so well with the ball in his hands. He was really good again with the push ahead pass in transition. Came out aggressive from the start and got going downhill and it really opened up his three-point shot where he was efficient on the day.

Steady left handed lead guard that will be relied upon in a big way going into his junior season. Plays at his own pace with his head up. Really good with the advance pass in transition. Confident shooter off the catch and off the dribble with deep range. Under control in the pick and roll doing a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. Has a chance to be an All-PAC performer this season.

Left handed true point guard out of Tecumseh played with the pedal to the metal in both games. He was aggressive getting to the rim while playing under control and running the show for his teammates. Had a big impact on both ends of the floor. Defended multiple positions and was constantly communicating well. Rebounded his position and pushed the tempo finding teammates for buckets on multiple occasions.

Pace setting left handed guard that plays under control with his head up. Confident offensive player that can play either guard spot. Shoots it well from distance with deep range. Has shown the ability to get in the lane and make crafty moves to finish in a variety of different ways. Solid defender that moves his feet and plays without fouling. Should be a really good table setter for his team.

Small school left handed guard that is looking to get his recruitment started. Steady lead guard that pushes the tempo and does a good job with the advance pass. In the half court he’s confident in the pick and roll staying on balance. Shoots the three-point shot with a lot of confidence. Expect him to make some noise at camp.

Left-handed guard that thrives pushing the tempo in transition. Really good at playing with his head up and finding teammate with a throw ahead pass. Shoots the three-ball with deep range. Really good manipulating the defense in pick and roll situations.

Oxley has gotten stronger and more confident on the floor which has earned him a spot on our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Watch List. The 5’10” guard from Tecumseh High School is a shifty ball handler that showcases the ability to get two feet in the paint off of the bounce while also stretching the floor as a three-point shooting threat. It is that combination of skills that makes him a tough cover on the perimeter. He is an under-the-radar guard down in southern Indiana worth following over the next couple of years.
