We got to see Castelli catch fire during one of his 5-on-5 games at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. There was a stretch where the left-handed guard knocked in three straight three-point shots, including a couple of tough ones off of the bounce, showcasing his shot-making ability. Then, he capped off that stretch with a beautiful assist in transition. There is obviously no shortage of talent at Fishers High School, but Castelli will be a name to remember over the next couple of years.

One of my favorite guards I got a chance to watch on Sunday for Team 6 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp was Roman Castelli Roman Castelli 5'10" | PG/CG Fishers | 2029 IN . Another one of those exciting sophomores from Fishers HS, Castelli showed why he is a 2029 prospect to keep an eye on. He loves to push the pace when he can and is just really smooth and crafty around the rim. He can also knock down the three-ball at a pretty consistent clip.

There is certainly no shortage of talent going through the program at Fishers High School right now. The varsity backcourt is obviously set for this season, but Castelli will be in line to take over a larger role in the coming years. He had a very good summer with a EG10 15u team that had a lot of success. His ball handling and all-around playmaking abilities make him a prospect to watch in the Class of 2029. We are looking forward to evaluating him further at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Another impact guard coming up the ranks at Fishers, Roman Castelli Roman Castelli 5'10" | PG/CG Fishers | 2029 IN impresses me every time I see him. The smooth left handed guard is all IQ and skill on the floor. He’s not the quickest or most athletic player, but he always gets the job done. Impressive offensive talent that is true point guard with really good court vision. He’s a tempo pushing guard that loves the advance pass to open teammates. He’s excellent in the pick and roll with his ability to make any pass on the floor as well as being a threat to score when the defense goes under ball screens.

A smooth left handed guard that plays with great pace. Always has his head up ready to push in transition. Not the quickest or most athletic but does a great job playing at different speeds. Really good shooter off the catch and dribble with a quick release and deep range. Was able to get free multiple times and get his shot off even when heavily contest.
