Indiana Elite 15 U has been on a tear as their physicality just wears down opponents and allows them to thrive in transition. While Indiana Elite 15 U usually wins off their defense and transition play, Cabana is a high level half-court offensive player. I liked Cabana’s pace on the ball and he’s an elite shooter. With strong positional size from the off guard position, Cabana is a dangerous player to stop off the catch. Michigan’s 2029 class has a lot of talent but Cabana is up near the top of the talent in the state.

Speaking of elite freshman in Michigan. What we said about Bush’s standing in the freshman class – Insert here. He’s a tall and athletic wing that has terrific body control for a young player. Cabana showed a feel for good shot and bad shot last night and attacked when there was space. He was able to score from all 3 levels last night.

Cabana caught my eye with his defense at the showcase. He was a versatile defender that seemed comfortable and effective guarding all over the floor. Cabana showed this with his multiple blocks on the day.

Cabana would be a prime time draw at the Freshmsn Showcase. He can shoot from all levels, not just on the move or off the bounce too. He can actually go right to left or left to right and shoot in motion. Cabana has a quick crossover and a jitterbug move that will shake defenders.

Cabana can definitely fill it up. Probably the most impressive thing about his jumper was his ability to hit it from anywhere on the floor, mid range to beyond the arc.

Cabana has a very bright future in the game of basketball. Especially considering his grade and height, his footwork and overall control of movement are very impressive. Cabana is already very versatile, as he can play on or off the ball effectively. He proved to be a threat to score from anywhere on the floor.
