Foster set the tone for the weekend right away with the most attended 10:00 a.m. game on Friday morning. In a battle between two Top 5 Class 2A teams, also featuring two highly ranked Class of 2028 prospects, Foster really caught the attention of those in attendance. The versatile 6’5″ wing established himself as one of the best defenders in the state of Indiana while also scoring a game-high 22 points. It will be interesting to see where his recruitment goes through the month of July.

We started the weekend off by watching two of the top Class 2A teams face-off featuring two of the top rising junior prospects in the state. Scecina Memorial turned in an incredibly impressive performance led by this 6’6″ defensive game-wrecker. Foster was simply taking the ball from people and going to dunk it on the other end. He absolutely has solidified himself as one of the state’s best, most versatile defenders. Foster also led all scorers with 22 points in the game. Look for more and more college programs to take interest in his two-way ability.

Foster has a unique style of play that features a good deal of versatility for his size. He is a 6’5″ wing that handles the ball like a guard, but finishes around the basket like a forward. We were able to see him make several impressive plays off of the bounce for Progeny 16u on Friday night at UAA Session II. His ability to drive it from the perimeter and then finish over and through smaller defenders around the basket makes him a very difficult matchup. Foster remains a top prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2028.

. When it comes to the in-state 2028 class, Foster is a player with some of the most upside out of all his classmates. At 6’4, Foster is such a physical presence and a very difficult matchup for opponents. You can watch him this week when Scecina opens up Sectional play vs winner of KIPP and Irvington Prep in Sectional 43.

The high potential sophomore forward from Scecina put in a dominant second half in the City Championship versus Cathedral almost lifting the Crusaders to a comeback victory. He scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half. He’s a physical presence that plays longer than he is. He’s comfortable playing out on the perimeter. Capable shooter from 3, but doesn’t force his shot.
