It feels like no matter the setting you can pencil in Foster as a top performer these days. That comes with the territory as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2028, but he is also simply continuing to play at a very high level. The 6’5″ wing from Scecina Memorial is so tough to stop when attacking the basket off of the dribble. He handles the ball well, is incredibly strong, and finishes with both hands consistently at the end of his drives. Foster continues to prove himself as one of the top defenders in the state as well. Division I programs should be pulling the trigger to offer this two-way wing.

Another prospect who was certainly in the “best in the gym” discussion was this versatile wing/forward from Scecina Memorial. Foster has already established himself this summer as one of the best defenders in the state of Indiana. However, it is unique offense game that is intriguing as well. He handles the ball well for his size, can finish with both hands in the paint, and is a very willing passer as well. The two-way impact he consistently creates will eventually lead to some scholarship offers.

Foster set the tone for the weekend right away with the most attended 10:00 a.m. game on Friday morning. In a battle between two Top 5 Class 2A teams, also featuring two highly ranked Class of 2028 prospects, Foster really caught the attention of those in attendance. The versatile 6’5″ wing established himself as one of the best defenders in the state of Indiana while also scoring a game-high 22 points. It will be interesting to see where his recruitment goes through the month of July.

We started the weekend off by watching two of the top Class 2A teams face-off featuring two of the top rising junior prospects in the state. Scecina Memorial turned in an incredibly impressive performance led by this 6’6″ defensive game-wrecker. Foster was simply taking the ball from people and going to dunk it on the other end. He absolutely has solidified himself as one of the state’s best, most versatile defenders. Foster also led all scorers with 22 points in the game. Look for more and more college programs to take interest in his two-way ability.

Foster has a unique style of play that features a good deal of versatility for his size. He is a 6’5″ wing that handles the ball like a guard, but finishes around the basket like a forward. We were able to see him make several impressive plays off of the bounce for Progeny 16u on Friday night at UAA Session II. His ability to drive it from the perimeter and then finish over and through smaller defenders around the basket makes him a very difficult matchup. Foster remains a top prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2028.
