A transfer from Pike to Brownsburg for his senior season, Washington is the pace-setter for Indiana Basketball Club 17u. The 5’10” point guard is extremely quick end-to-end and is very difficult to keep out of the paint. He was excellent down the stretch to help mount a comeback and ultimately pull out the victory on Saturday morning. His ability to attack the basket consistently, finish at the end of his drives, and find open teammates makes him a very intriguing playmaker to watch.

An in-state transfer that I got a chance to watch this weekend was Bo Washington Bo Washington 5'10" | PG Brownsburg | 2027 State IN , a 2027 point guard with elite quickness. Washington is spending his senior season with Brownsburg after coming over from Pike HS. Moving over from Pike, Washington steps into a bigger role in the backcourt for the Bulldogs and will be one of the top pure playmakers for them. He showed some top notch court vision and strong first step that allowed him to blow by defenders.

Gotten to see Bo Washington Bo Washington 5'10" | PG Brownsburg | 2027 State IN several times throughout the spring and he has quickly become one of my favorite guards in the Indiana in-state class of 2027. Smaller guard that is an absolute terror on the defensive end of the floor. Lightning quick but never rushed. Talented offensive talented that thrives in transition. Made several plays in Brownsburg’s narrow loss to Lawrence Central on Sunday turning defense into offense in a hurry. In the half court, he’s a steady guard that does a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. Shifty guard that gets paint touches and showed good court vision setting teammates up for open looks.

Bo Washington Bo Washington 5'10" | PG Brownsburg | 2027 State IN played like a true floor general all weekend for Indiana Basketball Club. He consistently got downhill, putting pressure on defenses and forcing rotations. What stood out most was his ability to balance scoring with playmaking. He didn’t just attack the rim, he created opportunities for teammates and kept the offense organized. When the game sped up, he slowed it down. When his team needed a push, he attacked. That level of control is what separates solid guards from impactful ones.

There is obviously no shortage of elite talent going through the system at Pike High School right now. Washington, an under-the-radar point guard that got some varsity experience as a junior, really made a name for himself this weekend at The Stage playing with Indiana Basketball Club 17u. The explosive 5’10” playmaker got consistent paint touches and showed off some next-level quickness. Small college coaches will want to follow him this spring and summer.
