He consistently got downhill, putting pressure on defenses and forcing rotations. What stood out most was his ability to balance scoring with playmaking. He didn’t just attack the rim, he created opportunities for teammates and kept the offense organized. When the game sped up, he slowed it down. When his team needed a push, he attacked. Washington, an under-the-radar point guard that got some varsity experience as a junior, really made a name for himself this weekend at The Stage playing with Indiana Basketball Club 17u. The explosive 5’10” playmaker got consistent paint touches and showed off some next-level quickness. Small college coaches will want to follow him this spring and summer.
