There has never been a question about Harris’ upside. He has some of the most special athletic and physical tools in the state of Indiana. However, the skill level is starting to pop now and catch up with his physical gifts. The 6’6″ wing/forward has trimmed down a bit, grown an inch or so, and is starting to shoot it well from three-point range consistently. When you pair that with his explosiveness getting downhill and ability to finish high above the rim you start to get a pretty intriguing prospect. It will be fun to follow Harris throughout his upcoming junior season and beyond.

Jarrett Harris was added to the team on the day of the event and he made a huge impact. Harris really stands out the most as a passer, with good instincts and ability to find open players in transition. Protects the ball and flashes good on-court awareness, sensing when defenders are close. Went coast-to-coast on a steal and score in game 1.

Perhaps the player that has the strongest chance to really breakout this weekend is 2028 power forward Jarrett Harris Jarrett Harris 6'6" | PF/SG Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats | 2028 State IN of Indianapolis Lutheran. Harris will be once again running with Progeny 16U and you can watch him on the UAA Circuit this weekend. When it comes to the physical tools, Harris has all of that and then some. He is a constant lob threat with growing skills along with his elite athleticism. He will grab some people’s attention this weekend.

There was not a more physically imposing prospect that I saw over the weekend at Run N Slam than Jarret Harris. Running with Progeny 16U, Harris was a consistent force at the rim and was always trying to be a lob threat. Although he is at his best being an athletic, powerful player, he showed a little bit of jumper as well. Already has the physical tools and could be developing his skills long term as we speak.

Jarrett Harris Jarrett Harris 6'6" | PF/SG Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats | 2028 State IN is one of the more physically athletic gifted players in the entire country. His unique skill set for his size sees him trend towards being a small forward, but is a player that can physically dominate the opposition playing above the rim any chance he gets. Has the potential to raise his national stock in a big way this spring and summer.

Harris proved why he is ranked as a Top 10 prospect in the Class of 2028 by Prep Hoops Indiana. We have long known that he possesses some of the best athletic and physical tools in the class. However, on Tuesday night, he showed off a more well-rounded and expanded offensive game than we have seen previously. He hit multiple mid-range jump shots including some tough turnaround jump shots out of the mid-post. Harris led Lutheran with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots.

Jarrett Harris Jarrett Harris 6'6" | PF/SG Indianapolis Homeschool Wildcats | 2028 State IN put in a show from the very beginning in warm up drills and later took it to the scrimmages. The uber athletic physical wing/forward was a highlight reel waiting to happen in transition. Offensively he has good feel for his age and size. Has a good looking perimeter jumper, though he settles a bit too much instead of using his size and strength to get in the lane and finish. Defensively he has the potential to be a stopper. Ability to guard multiple positions on the floor. He could have very well been the prospect with the highest potential at the camp.
