High potential wing with inside-out skills who was one of the more intriguing players I saw at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Catch and shoot threat from the perimeter. Showed the ability to drive close outs and finish with either hand at the basket. Good decision maker off the bounce that looks to make the right read and can really pass. Another versatile defender that can guard all over the floor. Good fundamental defender that finished plays with hard block outs and rebounded strong with two hands.

We watched Indiana Elite Team Indiana 15u on Wednesday pick up a win over a 3SSB team in impressive fashion. Bode, a versatile 6’5″ forward from Hamilton Southeastern High School was a big reason for that victory and continued to have a great weekend/weekend in Rock Hill. The rising sophomore finished the weekend averaging 8.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. It will be interesting to see if he can earn some minutes for what should be a very good HSE team this coming season.

- Multi-sport athlete
- Should have an increased role with HSE this season.
- versatile wing/forward has flashed some catch-and-shoot ability, best as a driver in the lane, really good length for his age, skill, athleticism, length, and skill make him a very difficult matchup

Bode has put together a few very, very impressive performances through the spring with Indiana Elite Team Indiana who ended up qualifying for 3SSB play in July. The 6’5″ versatile wing/forward has flashed some catch-and-shoot ability, but is especially effective as a driver and slasher around the basket. His combination of skill, athleticism, length, and skill make him a very difficult matchup for his peers.

There was a stretch that Bode put together on Saturday afternoon for Indiana Elite Team Indiana 15u that was really, really fun to watch. The talented, versatile, 6’5″ forward knocked in a mid-range jump shot off of a nice cut, finished a strong right hand drive at the rim, and then finished another drive with a spin move and left-handed layup. Those three buckets came in the span of about 90 seconds. He is one to watch in the Class of 2028 for Hamilton Southeastern High School.

At 6’5″ with an impressive skill set, Bode certainly stands out as a prospect in the Class of 2028. He moves so well for his size, has legitimate perimeter skill as a catch-and-shoot threat and ball handler, and can use his length to dominate smaller defenders around the basket. Bode was very good at out Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and had a very good summer leading into his freshman year at Hamilton Southeastern High School.

The physical tools and well-rounded skill set that Bode possesses at such a young age makes you really excited about what he can become. However, while the future upside is exciting, that shouldn’t take away from what he is already capable of on the floor. Bode has the size to really dominate around the basket while his skill and fluid athleticism makes it difficult for like-sized defenders to matchup out on the perimeter. He is definitely an exciting prospect for Hamilton Southeastern.
