Buckley played well at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and stood out at times while playing against older competition at the Metro Indy Fall League. The 6’0″ guard does a good job of creating separation on the perimeter. He is a good shooter off of the bounce and always a threat to get downhill to the rim. Hamilton Southeastern has a deep pool of veteran talent this season, but look for Buckley to emerge as a star in the coming years for the Royals.

from Hamilton Southeastern. A smaller guard, he is incredibly smooth on the ball and can score effectively off the dribble. A crafty playmaker, Buckley did a good job creating for himself and his teammates while also showing range from behind the arc.

Hamilton Southeastern is loaded with veteran talent this season, but Buckley looks like he will be one of the “next up” for the Royals. The 6’0″ guard is a very talented playmaker that consistently made his teams better on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. Whether it was during 3-on-3 or 5-on-5 play, Buckley was able to get into the paint, draw the attention of multiple defenders, and make the correct play. He is a talented scorer in the intermediate range as well as what he can do as a passer from anywhere on the floor. Continuing to watch his development will be fun for years to come.
