Johnson is a massive interior presence that you can run plays for with the idea of him scoring it in the post. The 6’7″ center absorbs contact, makes defenders bounce off of him, and stood out with his ability to finish with both hands around the rim. His footwork was very impressive for a young post player of his size. Look for Johnson to an immediate impact player for Delta High School. He is absolutely one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2029 coming out of Sunday’s Freshman Showcase.

Listed at 6’7″, Johnson is one of the other incoming freshmen for Delta who will likely start right away at the center position. Not only is he a massive presence in the paint on both ends of the floor, but he was also one of the better passers I saw on the day, able to find the open man when the double-team came. He has solid skill with unlimited upside as a big man.
