Badenhop is such a consistent performer for Indy Heat 15u. The 6’3″ guard from Liberty Center High School in Ohio has turned in two strong performances at the Peach Jam so far this week. He had 16 points and 4 rebounds in Tuesday’s game and then finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds in Wednesday’s victory. Most impressively, Badenhop is shooting 9-16 (56.3%) from three-point range in the two games combined.

One of the top shooters in Ohio, Badenhop caught fire from downtown on Tuesday afternoon and finished five for eight from 3-point range. Badenhop can hit shots off movement or as a stationary target for his teammates and his high release point allows him to make shots over hard contests at him. Badenhop had an early drive and kick assist and hit Irby on a pick and fade, but I want to see him get stronger so he can provide more rim pressure on an EYBL court. One of the top small town prospects in Ohio’s 2029 class, Badenhop will debut very high in our 2029 rankings that will be updated shortly after the July live periods wrap up.

One of the few underclassmen to stand out this weekend, Badenhop was so impressive that he added an offer to Cleveland State this weekend. Badenhop is an elite perimeter shooter who wants to pull-up in your face with no regard for a shot-contest. As Badenhop continues to fill out his frame he will be even tougher to stop on drives as he already has the wiggle to get by his primary defender right now. Looking like one of the top prospects regardless of class from northwest Ohio, Badenhop will be a must watch player for basketball junkies around the region.

One of the bright spots for Indy Heat 15u at EYBL Session III in Kansas City was this 6’3″ skilled, athletic guard from Liberty Center High School in Ohio. Badenhop played especially well on Sunday and Monday making three three-point shots in both games and really showcasing his scoring prowess. His combination of length in the backcourt, athleticism, and skill will be worth tracking over the coming years.
