is a 6’4” wing that gets buckets from all over the floor. Smooth operator that scores in isolation as well as in the flow of the offense. Really good getting downhill finishing around the basket with either hand. Crafty ball handler that can create seperation to get his shot off. Good shooter from three while also being deadly in the midrange. Stock riser in the 2028 class that will thrive in the fast paced camp setting.

You can always count on Johnson to be smooth and under control. He is a dynamic offensive talent without forcing anything. The scoring opportunities come to him, he serves as a very good secondary playmaker, and is so fluid in everything that he does on the floor. Johnson has impressive two-way upside on the perimeter and can toggle between multiple positions in the backcourt. His shot-making and playmaking were on display at the Ball State Elite Camp. He will be one to watch during his junior season at Muncie Central High School.

Johnson continues to have a really good spring and summer. The 6’4″ athletic guard who has transferred from Muncie Central to Delta High School is such a talented, pure scorer. He slices his way through the defense consistently off of the dribble and has a lot of ability in transition. It came in a loss, but Johnson led all scorers with 22 points in the first of two Futures All-Star games on Friday.

Johnson is the perfect addition to a Delta team that has already advanced to three consecutive Class 3A North Semi-States. He is a guy who can create offense for himself and turning nothing into something. The long, athletic, 6’3” guard is so fluid in transition and does a great job of slicing through the defense and scoring up at the rim off of the bounce. He has fit in well with Delta this summer so far and should be a major piece of what will be one of the preseason favorites in Class 3A.

It certainly wasn’t his best statistical performance of the year, but Johnson looked like he belonged on the floor against a very talented, and veteran, Mt. Vernon (Fortville) team. The 6’3″ talented sophomore guard finished with 8 points, but had several good looks from the paint that could have led to more. Johnson’s best basketball is certainly ahead of him.

. The 6’2 sophomore is leading the Bearcats in scoring this season with his 16.4 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the field. The long, fluid, athlete is very versatile on the wing at both ends of the floor and will be a breakout player in the 2028 class sooner than later. You can watch him when Muncie Central opens up Sectional play vs Richmond.

We quickly identified this prospect as one of the best players in the Class of 2028 when he entered high school. Following a strong freshman season he solidified himself as a Top 25 prospect in the class. However, our opportunities to evaluate him live have been admittedly slim. Johnson is averaging a team-leading 18.1 points per game as a sophomore at Muncie Central High School.

We identified Johnson early on as a high-upside prospect in the Class of 2028 and have him ranked in the Top 25 here at Prep Hoops Indiana. He is really showing off his talent this season leading Muncie Central to a 5-3 recored. On Friday night Johnson hit the game-winner to defeat Lafayette Jeff 53-51 and scored a game-high 31 points to lead all scorers. He is averaging a team-leading 17.8 points per game.
One of the last games I watched all weekend was Bates Fundamentals Vs All Ohio Red 15 U and Johnson came out the gates firing. The 6’2 wing guard plays with a unique pace off the dribble and could bend through traffic to finish layups and floaters at the rim. A silky-smooth guard attacking closeouts, Johnson was productive using his creativity and flair off the bounce to get past his man. One of the more productive guards in Indiana as a freshman, Johnson impressed on the grassroots circuit and is showing why he’s ranked inside the top 20 in Prep Hoops Indiana’s 2028 rankings.

Johnson has stepped in from day one at Muncie Central High School and been the Bearcats leading scorer at 11.0 points per game. The long, fluid, 6’2″ athlete is very versatile on the wing at both ends of the floor. His best basketball is still to come well down the road, but he is already in a very good spot in his development.
