We’ve written a lot about Clark through the spring and rightfully so. He has been playing at a very high level for Hamilton Southeastern and on the AAU Circuit. However, he took things to another level with his performance on Friday. Not only was it the performance of the day, but it was arguably the most impressive individual performance that I’ve seen yet this spring/summer. Clark poured in an incredible 47 points at the Indiana All-Star Classic including six three-point shots. There was simply nothing anyone could do to stop him.

We already had Clark ranked as a top prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2028, but the 6’3″ guard was a major stock-riser this spring jumping all of the way up to #7. He reiterated why we are so high on him on Thursday at Ball State. In just a short viewing we watched him rattle off seven straight points for Hamilton Southeastern making a three-point shot behind a ballscreen, knocking in a tough mid-range shot through some contact, and then using his size and athleticism to finish a drive at the rim. His offensive game is really starting to pop.

This 6’3″ guard from Hamilton Southeastern High School has always been very highly regarded by us at Prep Hoops Indiana. We first identified him as a standout at our Freshman Showcase, he played his way into a starting role as a freshman for the Royals, and then was excellent as a sophomore. However, he has taken his game to another level this spring. We expect Division I programs to start really focusing on him in the summer. Clark makes his debut inside the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Top 10 at #7 overall.

Clark continues to have an excellent spring and is proving himself as a stock-riser in the Class of 2027. The 6’3″ guard played well once again at the Futures All-Star game on Monday night finishing with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the South team. His recruitment could really start to get going during the live periods coming up in June and July.

Clark had been playing with All Ohio Red 16u, but suited up with Meansteets 16u this weekend in Kansas. The talented 6’3″ guard from Hamilton Southeastern High School played very well. He finished the event averaging 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. It will be interesting to see if some college programs start to get more involved heading into the June and July live evaluation periods. Clark is definitely a Division I level prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2028.

One of the players with the highest potential in the in-state 2028 class will be playing for All Ohio Red this weekend at Run-N-Slam, with that player being Varschon Clark Varschon Clark 6'4" | SG/PG Hamilton Southeastern | 2028 State IN of Hamilton Southeastern. Clark had one of the more impressive sophomore seasons in the state this past season and has continued that into the AAU season. He scores in a multitude of ways and is one of the best in his class at getting downhill and hitting contested shots. This weekend, watch him on Friday at 8:30 PM, and Saturday at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM.

The crafty Hamilton Southeastern sophomore guard is a high potential guard with likable physical attributes. Long and lanky guard that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Able to get downhill and score in a variety of different ways while being able to get himself open off the dribble and hit contested jumpers. One of the more high potential players on the Indiana in-state class of 2028 that could explode onto the scene this spring and summer.

Based off what I saw last night, I am ready to say that Varschon Clark Varschon Clark 6'4" | SG/PG Hamilton Southeastern | 2028 State IN has some of the highest potential out of any sophomore in the state of Indiana. He finished with 18 points for HSE in their thrilling win vs Westfield. Along with how dynamic he was as a scorer, it was just the energy that he brought on both ends the floor that really stood out. Another strong showing on Friday could give HSE a legit chance vs Fishers.

It was senior night at Hamilton Southeastern, but this talented sophomore stepped up in a major way for the Royals on Saturday night. Clark, a 6’3″ guard, led the way with 21 points and 7 rebounds to secure a 76-72 victory over Pendleton Heights.

The in-state sophomore class is starting to see some breakout players and one of them that is trending in the right direction is Hamilton Southeastern shooting guard Varschon Clark Varschon Clark 6'4" | SG/PG Hamilton Southeastern | 2028 State IN . The 6’3 energetic guard is averaging 10.3 points per game 5.4 rebound, and 2.8 assists. Clark is a true microwave scorer that plays off the bounce and can knock down shots in a hurry. HSE will play Zionsville and at Mt. Vernon Fortville this weekend.
