at Charlie Hughes, but there are a lot of other guys that made impacts as well. One player that I was impressed with was 2028 guard

. Been a minute since I had seen Rousch and I noticed the improvements he has made in the recent years. Thought he was a strong shot maker while still being a very aggressive driver. A very high motor and a lot of energy.

Austin turned in one of the performances of the summer on Sunday scoring over 100 points and making what had to have been over 15 three-point shots as a team against Christian Academy of Louisville. Roush, a known sharpshooter, was part of the shooting barrage. He displayed a quick release and the ability to make some tough shots when tightly contested. HIs shooting ability also opens up the opportunity to attack closeouts for a layup or intermediate range floater.

Playing up at the 17u level with Marlin Academy P32 for the weekend proved to be no problem for this sharpshooter from Austin High School. We saw him pour in five three-point shots and a game-high 23 points in a win on Saturday. Roush’s catch-and-shoot ability is what he is known for, but he did make a couple of plays off of the dribble over the course of the weekend as well. The 6’0″ guard is part of an extremely talented, and young, Austin High School backcourt that should be a favorite in Class 2A going into next season.

Steady combo guard that’s comfortable playing on or off the ball. Smooth, compact stroke from three that shoots it with good range. Has really nice court vision that goes with his ability to get to his spot on the floor. He’s a high IQ guard that understands when to score and when to facilitate. He’s an aggressive defender that plays the passing lanes well. He’s a tempo setter that wants to play at a fast pace and looks to turn defense into offense in a hurry.

Known as one of the best pure shooters in southern Indiana, Roush caught fire in the second half for Austin knocking in four three-point shots on his way to a team-leading 20 points in a 76-58 loss at Charlestown. His shot-making ability from the perimeter will make him one to follow in Indiana’s Class of 2028.

Caught the 1st game of the day on Sunday. Played a significant role in team’s W. Had a team high 27 points. Well balanced game on both ends with a lot of upside. Offensively can attack the rim at different angles. Made a sweet spin move for an up and under lay in to go along with 3 3’s. Knows how to space away after the pass for catch and shoot opportunities. Was a challenge to stay in front of as he drew a lot of contact from defenders to go to the stripe. Dove for loose balls on the floor, made the extra kickout, and took a big charge.

Era Elite knocked off The Academy in a highly competitive game on Saturday, while playing shorthanded, and it was a dominant individual performance from Roush that allowed them to close out the 74-71 victory. The 6’1″ guard from Austin High School scored 27 points while primarily driving to the rim and scoring around the basket. His ability to create his own shot and attack the rim is really impressive.

One of the most talented guards in southern Indiana’s freshman class, Roush poured in 27 points to help lift Era Elite 15u to an impressive victory over The Academy 15u on Saturday morning. The 6’1″ guard from Austin High School was hot from beyond the arc, but also used his athleticism to create mid-range jump shots and was able to slice his way to the rim off of the dribble for some layups as well. He is a well-rounded, talented offensive player.

Roush is a 3-level scorer who sees the floor and understands spacing. He’s good with or without the ball, either way, he can help space the floor by cutting and finding gaps to open the court or knocking down shots from beyond the arc to drag defenders out of the lane.
