Additional Indiana Standouts From St. Louis and Richmond

During the first of two July live evaluation periods I split time in between the New Balance P32 League in St. Louis, Missouri and the Puma Pro16/NXTPRO Session 11 in Richmond, Virginia. As always, I highlighted top individual performers in real time each day. However, with so much basketball over the course of four days, there are some additional prospects that deserve mention. Here are some of the other best players that I had the chance to see between the two events this weekend.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 16u was led by Wilson Jr. all weekend, including a 38-point outburst in Sunday's win, but Bode had a second half flurry of buckets that helped secure their win. The versatile 6'6" forward finished a couple of buckets in transition and found success crashing the offensive glass and finishing putbacks. His fluid athleticism, skill set, and size makes him a tough matchup for opposing defenders.     It was good getting to see Hughes suit up with [program_tooltip program_id='2559412' first='Marlin' last='Academy'] (P32) 17u in St. Louis and play against some high-level competition. He was a big part of their 4-0 weekend finishing the event averaging 13.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. The 6'4" left-handed guard also shot 56% from three-point range. His combination of shot-making ability from the perimeter and playmaking ability as a driver makes him a very intriguing prospect for scholarship-level small college programs to follow this month and into his senior season.     Linderman really stood out in the final two games of the weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 17u. The 6'8" bouncy, athletic center really showcased his activity level around the basket at both ends of the floor. He was consistently involved in the offensive rebounding effort finishing several putbacks while also beating defenders on the rim run and showing off his fluid athleticism with fluid finishes on the roll. The Silver Creek High School rising senior also stood out as an interior defender and rim protector.     In the last game of the weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 15u this 6'2" guard really stood out. Weaver led a strong offensive flurry that included a couple of strong right-hand drives to the basket, a beautiful backdoor cut for a finish, and a catch-and-shoot shoot corner three-point shot. Weaver's size and physicality in the backcourt, often serving as the primary ball handler, is hard for opposing defenders to handle. He was a rotation player as a freshman at Homestead High School which helps prove his abilities and upside as a prospect.     The Yoder name is synonymous with basketball at Westview High School. This 6'6" rising senior forward helped lead Westview to a Class 2A State Runner-up finish last season and had a good live period session with LVL Up 17u out in St. Louis. Anytime you pair size with elite catch-and-shoot ability you will get an intriguing prospect. Yoder can pick-and-pop with the best of them and is a high percentage set shooter from beyond the arc.     The [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] 15u squad came out to Richmond, Virginia and rattled off a perfect 5-0 undefeated weekend. Young, a 6'1" playmaker from Kokomo High School, averaged 13 points and 6 assists on the weekend while leading his team to the undefeated session. He is quick with the ball in his hands, shifty as a driver, and consistently played with his head up to make good decisions both as a scorer and as a playmaker for his teammates. An under-the-radar guard to watch in Indiana's Class of 2029.
