Long and Athletic Indiana Wesleyan Commit that I admittedly haven’t seen much of. Lucas Linderman Lucas Linderman 6'9" | C Silver Creek | 2027 State IN is a 6’9” Forward Center that is a fluid athlete that is an elite rim runner and lob threat. More skilled offensively than I expected. Comfortable handling it in straight line drive situations from the perimeter and has so unique passing ability for his size. Has developed into a capable three-point shooter off the catch. Love the versatility and effort he plays on the defensive end. Capable of keeping smaller and quicker players in front of him while being a formidable shot blocker at the rim. High potential prospect that will impact games on both ends of the floor this season.

Linderman really stood out in the final two games of the weekend for Grand Park Premier 17u. The 6’8″ bouncy, athletic center really showcased his activity level around the basket at both ends of the floor. He was consistently involved in the offensive rebounding effort finishing several putbacks while also beating defenders on the rim run and showing off his fluid athleticism with fluid finishes on the roll. The Silver Creek High School rising senior also stood out as an interior defender and rim protector.

In Grand Park Premier 17u’s second game of the day, which they won against Colorado Collective 17u, Linderman really showcased his upside. The 6’8″ center finished on the rim run and displayed his fluid athleticism with several other finishes around the basket. He is a long, bouncy interior presence that plays above the rim offensively while also rebounding and altering shots defensively. Scholarship programs from a variety of levels should continue to follow him closely.

His elite athleticism at his size gives him a higher ceiling than some other big men in the rising senior class, but even his current levels of production assure that he is a scholarship-level big man for Division II or NAIA programs. Linderman excels on the rim run and out of the dunker’s spot, but is really progressing as an offensive threat overall. His rebounding and shot-blocking ability establish a solid floor for him as well. The 6’8″ center out of Silver Creek High School jumped from #50 to #21 in our rankings.

The long and athletic Forward out of Silver Creek has continued to see his stock rise throughout the spring AAU season for Grand Park Premier 17u Pro16. High motor forward that impacts the game around the rim on both ends. Pick and roll and lob threat on the offensive end, while also showing flashes of a perimeter jumper. Defensively, he’s the anchor in the paint that is able to block or alter any shot near the rim. Really exciting prospect that continues to get better and better every time I see him.

Lucas Linderman Lucas Linderman 6'9" | C Silver Creek | 2027 State IN brought a combination of size, athleticism, and upside that immediately stood out. The center moved well around the floor and looked quick off his feet defensively around the basket. He also showed touch offensively with a smooth release for a player his size. Linderman competed hard protecting the rim and rebounding throughout the weekend. His physical tools and mobility point toward significant long term upside. He looked comfortable running the floor in transition as well. Big men with his blend of size and movement are always intriguing prospects.

The long and athletic junior forward is just another intriguing college prospect in line for the Silver Creek Dragons. A big time rim protector and anchor of the defense that runs the floor and is arguably the best lob threat in the state of Indiana. He’s a good PnR partner that sets good screens and it doesn’t matter how high you throw the lob, Lucas will go up and get it. Not much perimeter game but has shown that he is willing to take the open corner 3.
