The depth of Silver Creek is what makes them one of the best teams in the state of Indiana regardless of class. Yes, they have three Division I prospects and countless future college players, but their ability to just keep bringing in talented players is impressive. Renn came off of the bench in the fourth quarter of the Dragons’ 74-45 blowout win over Shortridge on Friday morning at Lawrenceburg and quickly nailed three three-point shots. The 6’4″ wing’s shooting ability is very impressive. Silver Creek won the Ray Furney Classic to move to 12-1 on the season after handing Plainfield their first loss in the championship game.

On our recent trip down south to watch Silver Creek High School workout, Renn was one of two prospects in the Dragons’ sophomore class that really stood out. They are so loaded with talent right now, including two Division I commits in the senior class and a highly recruited Division I junior point guard. However, Renn is one to remember for the next couple of seasons. The athletic, versatile 6’4″ guard/wing has a well-rounded skill set. He can stretch the floor as a shooter, attack the rim as a driver, and uses his length well on the defensive end of the floor. We are excited to continue to track his development in the coming years.
