Long and athletic 6’7” Forward that gets better every time I see him. Plays like he has springs in his feet. Quick second jumper that affects the game around the rim on both ends of the floor. Good hands. Big time rebounder and a mobile big that runs the floor well. Has shown that he’s willing to take the occasional jump shot, but a lot of his points came off dump offs and offensive rebounds.

The highest ranked prospect who was not previously in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Top 50 is this 6’7″ center from Silver Creek. Not only are the Dragons loaded with talent, but they are loaded with size as well. Makun got his feet wet at the varsity level last year, but should be a primary contributor in a very good front court this season as a junior. With the way he continues to grow and develop inside he is definitely a prospect on the rise worth following.

Makun was one of the Class of 2028 prospects from Indiana that really improved his stock over the weekend at the Run N Slam. He continues to get bigger every time we see him. The Silver Creek High School forward is now a legitimate 6’6″-6’7″ and appears to still be growing. He finished above the rim, rebounded out a high level, and showed some upside as an interior defender. High upside prospect for D1 Indiana P32 17u.

There is so much talent coming through the system right now at Silver Creek High School. Makun was able to earn some varsity minutes as a sophomore, but he will be ready to step into a much larger role next season. That preparation starts this spring and summer with D1 Indiana P32 16u. The 6’6″ forward is a high-upside prospect that is worth getting eyes on now.

He runs with D1 Indiana 16U P32. and is an intriguing baller. It sounds like he is up to 6’7″, so this kid is long, and he will be a matchup problem. Aiden is great at running the floor and he finishes well around the basket. He is also a stout defender. Look out for Makun this weekend.

Prep Hoops Indiana had the opportunity to go down and watch a fall workout at Silver Creek High School a few weeks ago. The Dragons are the preseason number one team in Class 3A featuring to Division I commits in the senior class, a highly recruited Division I point guard in the junior class, and several other college prospects. However, there are some up-and-coming young guys to be excited about as well. Makun is a 6’5″ forward that will be among the “next up” group for the Dragons. He is a bouncy interior presence with good hands and feet on the low block. His ability to score it inside and clean the defensive glass is very intriguing.
