is one of the newer members of Indiana Elite 16U and he right away made an impact. Played so hard and with a high motor, Davison was making plays on both ends of the floor. Did a good job playing as that second scoring options hitting some smooth outside jumpers.

out of New Palestine. As of this writing, Davison is averaging a team in both points and rebounds with 21.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg. Long term, Davison will be viewed as a shooter but right now, he scores at all levels at a very high level. This week, watch Davison vs Pendleton Heights and Avon.

One of the most talented scorers in Indiana’s Class of 2028, Davison turned in two impressive performances on Friday. He started the day with 31 points, but New Palestine fell to Cardinal Ritter 70-66. Davison also scored a team-high 21 points in their loss later on in the day to Blackhawk Christian. The Dragons may have gone 0-2, but Davison was still incredibly impressive as a scorer.

Last week, the highest-rated prospect I was able to get eyes on was New Palestine sophomore shooting guard

. This was the first time I was able to watch him as the No. 1 guy for the Dragons. Watching him vs Bishop Chatard last week, he started off a little slow struggling to get shots to fall due to the length of Chatard causing him issues when trying to score. However, he exploded to 15 points in the second half which ultimately led to the Dragons getting the come-from-behind win. He is still growing as a player, but it is easily to see the potential that he has a pure scorer.

We’ve been high on Davison since we first saw him play during a preseason workout at New Palestine High School prior to his freshman season. We then followed him while he averaged 3.8 points per game and shot 30-72 (41.7%) for a Class 3A Final Four team. Over the summer, Davison played at a high-level culminating in an impressive performance at the 3SSB Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Finally, this fall, Davison was a consistent top performer at the Metro Indy Fall League. The 6’3″-6’4″ guard is an excellent shooter, but has improved as a playmaker while getting stronger and more athletic. Improving in those areas led to a jump from #25 to #10 in our prospect rankings.

We wrote about Davison last weekend as well, but when you watch a guy come out and score 41 points it is hard to not include him once again. Davison was on fire on Sunday evening pouring it in from all over the floor. The 6’3″ New Palestine High School sophomore knocked in multiple three-point shots, finished athletic drives at the rim, and even threw one down in traffic. He continues to play at a really high level and appears to be ready to become the go-to guy for the Dragons this season.

Ranked as a Top 25 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Rankings, Davison showed off his offensive skill level on Sunday evening at the Metro Indy Fall League. The 6’4″ guard displayed some high-level poise and pace while operating at high speeds in the open floor. He came racing down the floor, executed a pretty behind the back dribble, stopped on a dime, and knocked in a mid-range jump shot that really caught our attention. Davison is an excellent three-point shooting threat as well. His growth as a ball handler and playmaker will only make him that much more dangerous as a scorer/shooter.

It will be fun to see what kind of a role Davison will step into this season at New Palestine High School. The 6’3″ guard was in the rotation for a very good team as a freshman and now should be one of the Dragons’ go-to scoring options as a sophomore. Davison is an excellent three-point shooter, but can also use his perimeter shooting threat to attack closeouts and finish around the rim. Look for him to make a big sophomore leap this coming season. He certainly looked ready to take on more offensive responsibility at the Sophomore ID Camp on Sunday.

Another Top 25 Class of 2028 prospect that earned top performer honors from Team 1 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp, Davison proved himself once again as one of the top pure scorers in the class. He is knockdown shooter from beyond the arc, but really showcased his improved athleticism and ability to make plays off of the bounce. At 6’3″, the New Palestine High School product has good positional size on the wing as well.
