. The junior out of Plainfield HS played very well in the couple of games that I watched him showcasing himself to be arguably the most dynamic guard we have in the Indiana class of 2027. He did a really good job being that secondary scoring option for
Indy Heat
throughout the weekend which is big reason why they would go onto win the championship. Plays at such a high level on both ends.

You can always count on Baker-Lands to be a steadying presence for the Quakers. He makes tough jump shots, handles the ball well, and is one of the best perimeter defenders in the state. The junior guard scored 20 points to lead Plainfield to a 71-39 win over Guerin Catholic on Friday morning. They also beat Castle later in the day to move to a perfect 9-0 on the season.

In a game littered with high-level talent, Baker-Lands was often the best player on the floor in Saturday’s matchup between Plainfield and New Albany. He finished with 27 points to lead all scorers and pulled down 6 rebounds. Baker-Lands is a Top 10 prospect in the Class of 2027 Prep Hoops Indiana Rankings.
