If I had to pick my top five players that I was most impressed with this past weekend,

would easily be on that list. Coming off the bench in the two games I saw of
Indy Heat
17u, Wells was ready to go as soon as stepped onto the floor being that sharpshooter that he is. Not only did he do a good job spacing the floor, he also had some nice moments putting the ball on the floor and scoring at the rim. Just a guy that plays within himself.

A versatile wing with intriguing size and athleticism to go along with his skill set. Heavy downhill driver that uses his body to his advantage while being able to play through bumps and finish at the rim. Capable shooter off the catch but thrives putting it on the floor. Really good defender with the ability to guard multiple positions. Rebounds well for his position and plays well in transition as a play finisher.

The highest rated player on this watchlist that also feels like he has not gotten enough attention on a bigger scale is Lawrence North junior win Caleb Well. Maybe it is because he recently moved back into the state before the season got underway, but Wells is a prospect that has some of the highest potential out of any player in the state. He is averaging 14.0 points per game scoring both on the inside and outside at a very high level. He will be one of the few D1 prospects in the gym at the Fishers Tournament.

. This was my first chance to see Wells since he moved back into the state for his junior season. What instantly stands out to me is his length and overall smoothness in nearly all levels of the floor. Well is a highly skilled wing that can knock down shots on the perimeter, makes plays around the rim, and affect shots on the defensive end.

is back in Indiana and attending Lawrence Central High School for his junior season alongside his senior brother Vincent. The 6’6″ shooting guard immediately was slotted in at #8 overall in the Class of 2027. He obviously has great size on the perimeter and is one of the best shot-makers as well. Look for him to immediately be a go-to guy for what will be a Top 10 Lawrence Central team this season. He is absolutely a Division I talent.

Wells has wasted no time establishing himself among the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2027. The Indiana native has moved back to the Hoosier state and will attend Lawrence Central High School after beginning his career at Seckinger High School in Georgia. He was absolutely on fire in his second game of the night on Sunday at the Metro Indy Fall League. Wells, a 6’5″ guard, made six three-point shots, including several right in a row, with one of them becoming a four-point play. He was also fouled on another attempt and converted two of three at the free throw line. That type of shooting barrage is something you can expect to see a few times this winter from Wells.

A big guard who averaged close to 20 points per game as a sophomore, Wells is a knockdown shooter, especially on catch-and-shoot opportunities, and has added more off-the-dribble creation to his game. A more fluid and athletic version of himself in Year 2, Wells continues to grow as a dynamic offensive threat with defensive upside.
