Arguably the best shot blocker in all of high school basketball, Hill was a dominant force throughout the season for Pike High School. The 6’10” center averaged 12.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 4.3 blocks per game.

One of the youngest players nationally in the 2027 class, Hill won the Peach Jam championship before turning 16 years old. The highest ranked prospect in the 2027 class at a public high school program, Hill was coached by former NBA star Jeff Teague at Pike. A tremendous shot blocking talent, Hill has exceptional timing and anticipation on the defensive end of the court. A player Prep Hoops has been higher on than the rest of the industry for a year now, it’s good to see other recruiting sites bumping Hill up into the top 20 where he belongs.

The 5-Star 6’11” prospect in the 2027 class has had a brilliant junior season with so much untapped potential. The long and athletic center prospect is the best shot blocker in high school basketball and has shown why all season long. He’s a versatile defender that can guard inside and out. He’s capable of switching onto smaller players and keeping them in front of him. He’s an elite lob threat with a big catch radius and good hands. He continues to improve his offensive game. He’s a capable three-point shooter that deserves attention. Has shown flashes of being a player that can play with his back to the basket and finish over his left shoulder with soft touch, but thrives as a rim running big that plays above the rim.
