Indiana’s #1 ranked prospect in the Class of 2027 dominated the paint as he normally does on Sunday for the Indiana Junior All-Stars. There were some issues on the boards overall, but Hill managed to pull down 7 rebounds while also blocking 3 shots and deterring/altering several more. He also scored 15 points in the game. The recent Purdue commit was excellent on both ends of the floor.

Hill announced his commitment to Purdue right before the live period began last weekend. The 6’10” center, known as one of the top shot blockers in the country, continues to patrol the paint for Indy Heat 17u. He is averaging 2.3 blocks per game in EYBL play this spring while continuing to improve as a rebounder and show off his offensive upside. It is easy to see why the Pike High School product is ranked as a four-star, Top 25 prospect nationally.

The recent Purdue Commit got going in the second half on both ends of the floor. Had a stretch where he showed his full potential on both ends of the floor with a blocked shot that led to a rim run and-one. Knocked down a deep corner jumper. A steal leading to a bucket. And another bucket and foul. Not many players in the country can impact the game quite like Isaiah Hill Isaiah Hill 6'2" | SG Sycamore | 2029 State OH when the motor is running hot. Special defensive talent that continues to blossom into really nice offensive skill set.

Upside has never been the question when it comes to Isaiah Hill Isaiah Hill 6'2" | SG Sycamore | 2029 State OH ‘s game. Indiana’s top prospect in the Class of 2027, and a national Top 25, four-star recruit, Hill showed off some of the top end of that upside at the Run N Slam. His ability to string possessions together that involve making a catch-and-shoot corner three, dunking a lob on the rim run, and blocking shots will always be impressive. Hill rebounded as well as I’ve seen him rebound against some very good competition as well.

One of the youngest players nationally in the 2027 class, Hill won the Peach Jam championship before turning 16 years old. The highest ranked prospect in the 2027 class at a public high school program, Hill was coached by former NBA star Jeff Teague at Pike. A tremendous shot blocking talent, Hill has exceptional timing and anticipation on the defensive end of the court. A player Prep Hoops has been higher on than the rest of the industry for a year now, it’s good to see other recruiting sites bumping Hill up into the top 20 where he belongs.
