We feel really good about moving this high-upside prospect into our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Top 50 prior to this summer. If anything, Smith Jr. has proven himself as a stock-riser once again. Now standing closer to 6’6″, the athletic wing had an excellent day for UNRNKD 16u on Saturday. He scored 14 points and 17 points respectively including knocking down some smooth perimeter jump shots. Smith Jr.’s offensively versatile, paired with his size and athleticism, makes him a very intriguing prospect to follow in the rising junior class.

There obviously was a ton of talent at Pike last season and that likely won’t be any different this coming year. He was still able to get some valuable varsity experience, but the upside is there for him to develop into even more. The 6’4″ long, athletic, wing has had a good spring with UNRNKD Hoops and looked good playing with the Red Devils on Tuesday night at the PAC League. He is a good secondary playmaker and brings a lot of defensively versatility. Smith is now ranked #44 by us here at Prep Hoops Indiana.

Another sophomore wing that knows how to use his athleticism to his advantage. Bouncy that is much better as a play finisher than a play starter. Fluid athlete that showed he’s a very good cutter off the ball. Active on both ends of the floor. Versatile defender that uses his length and size. Should be a guy that comes in off the bench and is able to wreak havoc on opposing offenses.

The versatile athletic wing was doing it all in impressive fashion at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Offensively he was scoring it from all 3 level. Clean perimeter stroke with good elevation. Showed his skill set for his size to drive close outs and finish at the rim through contact. Loved the way he played with his head up and looking to create not only for himself, but for his teammates as well. Defensively he was a difference maker. Aggressive in passing lanes looking to turn defense into offense quickly
