Bowling III was excellent throughout the month of June with his Anderson High School team and then really stood out in Las Vegas while leading UNRNKD Hoops 16u to a perfect 5-0 weekend. The talented 6’5″ scoring guard averaged 23.0 points per game displaying his aggressiveness, athleticism, and finishing ability throughout the event. We have him ranked #17 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 rankings, but his production is starting to make us consider moving him up even further.

You can always count on Bowling III finding a way to put the ball in the basket. He has a very unique game in terms of his ability to finish so consistently with his left-handed despite shooting right handed. Bowling III is a long, lean 6’5″ with very impressive athleticism at the end of his drives. He has the ability to rise up and play well above the rim while his ambidextrous finishing ability allows him to get very creative. As he continues to shoot it better you could see his game take another leap, but he is already so consistently productive. The rising junior at Anderson High School was a big part of UNRNKD 16u’s success on Saturday.

One of the first players I had a chance to get eyes on during the Saturday portion of Charlie Hughes was Don bowling III of Anderson. He was honestly one of the more impressive prospects that I had a chance to watch one the weekend due to his motor and tough shot making at all levels. He was at his best pushing the pace in the lane and using his unique skill set to find tough angles to score. Just a super active player.

Whether he was slashing his way to the rim from the perimeter as a driver or running ahead of the defense in transition Bowling III found a lot of success up around the rim. The long, lean, and athletic wing had 14 points and 5 rebounds for the North All-Stars in their win on Monday night. He is a very unique and difficult matchup on the perimeter.

A player with some of the most upside in the Indiana class of 2028 is Don Bowling III Don Bowling III 6'5" | SF Anderson | 2028 State IN of Anderson High School. He has had a strong spring season with D1 Indiana 16u P32, arguably being their best player at times. Bowing is a long, lanky wing that produces at a high level with his ability to score at multiple levels. This could be the weekend that D1 programs start to take more of notice in his game.

Production follows Bowling III everywhere he goes. No matter the setting, no matter the level, you can count on him to produce. That was certainly true on Friday night as he suited up with UNRNKD 16u for EYCL Session I. Bowing III finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds in the 67-48 loss. His ability to take it coast-to-coast, elevate above the defense, and score with either hand was on full display.

There is a uniqueness to Bowling III’s game that makes him really hard to guard. The 6’5″ guard has length for days and really elevates when he gets inside of 15 feet or so to score. He handles the ball well enough to create his own looks and then can get up above the defense. Bowling III also finishes with both hands equally well at the rim and in that intermediate range. He really played well for D1 Indiana P32 16u and continues to prove himself as a top prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2028.

Don Bowling III Don Bowling III 6'5" | SF Anderson | 2028 State IN just gets better and better every time I see him. He impacts the game on both ends of the floor with his length and athleticism. Got his jump shot going early in the parts of the game I saw. Really good in the midrange. Nice first step to get his defender on his hip and once he’s in that position, the defender is at his mercy. Showed his midrange jumper where he elevates well while also driving closeouts and finishing at the rim. He’s a star that continues to get better at a rapid pace and the growth is exciting to watch.

He runs with D1 Indiana 16U P32. Don is now up to 6’5″. He is a standout wing who slashes extremely well and makes a ton of plays at the rim. Bowling also has a great mid-range game. This kid is the real deal!
