Smooth left handed guard that was oozing with confidence. The 5’7” guard out of Carmel was one of the more impressive players that I saw at the sophomore camp. He was composed. He played at his own pace and he was a vocal leader. As soon as he stepped on the floor he commanded the offense. For being a smaller guard he impressed me with the way he was able to finish over size in the lane. He’s a scrappy defender that competed on that side of the ball.

In terms of ball handling and pure playmaking there weren’t many prospects in attendance at the Sophomore ID Camp that were more impressive than this 5’8″ Carmel point guard. Golitko seems to have the ball on a string using a series of crafty combo moves to consistently get into the paint. He was able to score himself at times, but appeared to be even more comfortable setting up his teammates. It was a very strong showing for Golitko.
