The 6’1” 2028 Guard out of University High School is having a breakout start to the spring AAU season for Refined Indiana 16u. He’s a crafty scorer that has shown his versatility with the ability to play on or off the ball. Competitive player on both ends that plays hard. Has the offensive skill to take over games in a multitude of ways.

Bennett is the straw that stirs the drink for Refined Indiana NXT Pro 16u. That is a good quality to have considering how successful they continue to be both at our Prep Hoops events and now on the NXT Pro Circuit. The 6’1″ point guard from University High School is such a pure playmaker. He can make any pass on the floor, processes the game at a high level, and can also really shoot it from three-point range.

From a long-term prospect standpoint we have a couple of his Refined Indiana teammates ranked higher, but Jaxen Bennett Jaxen Bennett 6'1" | PG/CG University | 2028 IN was generally the straw that stirred the drink for that team. The 6’1″ playmaker has transferred from Carmel to University High School and should make an instant impact in a talented backcourt for the reigning Class 2A State Runner-Up. Bennett is an excellent shot-maker and facilitator.

One thing you’re always going to get from Jaxen Bennett Jaxen Bennett 6'1" | PG/CG University | 2028 IN is pure toughness, and that’s exactly what the University guard showed at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp on Sunday. By now, it’s clear how high his basketball IQ is, and he does a great job of pairing that with a relentless motor. He looks poised to be a key piece in University’s push for another run in Class 2A thanks to his scoring, IQ, passing, and overall effort on the floor.

Recent transfer to University High School, Jaxen Bennett Jaxen Bennett 6'1" | PG/CG University | 2028 IN is a heady combo guard that balances scoring and facilitating. Big time shooter that shoots an effortless ball from the perimeter. It’s a quick trigger release that’s on balance whether it’s off the catch or off the dribble. He’s best with the ball in his hands as a playmaker where he can get to his spot and make the right reads. Patient in the pick and roll, he has a nice burst off the screen creating separation where he can draw defenders to either hit the roll man or set up shooters spotting up.

We saw Bennett lead Refined Indiana 15u to a very successful spring and summer. The playmaking point guard is the ultimate floor general that can manipulate a defense with the ball in his hands with ease. After spending his freshman season at Carmel High School he has made the move to nearby University where he should factor into their backcourt equation from day one. The Trailblazers are the reigning Class 2A State Runner-Up and should be Top 10 in 2A once again.

The primary floor general for one of the most impressive 15u teams of the spring and summer, Bennett led Refined Indiana to a tone of success on the Prep Hoops Circuit. His ball handling and passing abilities stand out the most at this point, but Bennett has proven to be a knockdown three-point shooter when open as well. He was consistently flirting with triple-doubles and was one of the best pure playmakers that we saw in Indiana’s Class of 2028. As the rankings continue to expand in the next couple of updates he is one you can expect to start cracking the list.

The Carmel Greyhounds have a nice young core coming up the ranks and Jaxen Bennett Jaxen Bennett 6'1" | PG/CG University | 2028 IN looks to be one of those cornerstone pieces. Playing for Refined Indiana 15u, I was impressed with his ability to play the lead guard spot well. A true floor general that plays with energy while also being able to hit the outside shot at a good rate right now.

Not only did Bennett put up a couple of 20+ point scoring performances, but he also was the primary playmaker for Refined Indiana on their way to a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Queen City Clash. The 6’1″ guard from Carmel High School is an excellent outside shooter and has the court vision to make any pass while he gets his teammates open. This team was a well-oiled machine this weekend and Bennett was consistently the head of the snake.

A talented point guard from Carmel High School, Bennett started the weekend off strong scoring a team-high 23 points to help kickstart a perfect 4-0 weekend for Refined Indiana at the Queen City Clash. Bennett scored 23 points again on Saturday in a win over MWBC Pumas – Wisler. The Class of 2028 point guard is so skilled and confident with the ball in his hands. He was the consistent tone-setter for one of the best 15u teams in the gym over the weekend.
