Talented shooter as a wing/forward that can do a lot of different things on the offensive end. Excellent in catch and shoot opportunities. Also comfortable playing out of the high post with intriguing court vision. Rebounds and runs the floor well. Competes on the defensive end and is a solid rebounder that creates more opportunities for his team.

We continue to be impressed with his rising junior post player this spring and summer. Magsamen was excellent once again on Thursday at Ball State for Noblesville scoring it in the post and on the roll in a variety of ways. He has such excellent footwork inside primarily scoring via quick baseline drop steps or strong post moves over his left shoulder. Look for him to have a breakout junior season for the Millers.

Magsamen has started to show himself to be one of the more polished interior threats in Indiana’s Class of 2028. The Noblesville High School rising junior has had an excellent spring with Refined Indiana turning in some monster double-doubles for them. He can go get rebounds outside of his area and is mobile enough offensively to cause some difficult matchups for other 4’s and 5’s. Magsamen jumped from our Watch List to #37 overall in the Class of 2028.

Between the grassroots season, attending a workout at Noblesville, and his attendance at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp, we’ve been able to see Magsamen several times over the last few months. Obviously, his size is what stands out right away. He is a strong, athletic 6’5″ forward with a lot of upside as a rebounder and defender. We are impressed with how fluid he is as an athlete for his size and age. Noblesville High School is loaded up once again with a potential Class 4A Top 10 team, but look for Magsamen to make his name know over the next couple of years. He is a high-upside prospect to follow.

A 6’4″ forward from Noblesville High School, Magsamen will have a chance to crack the front court rotation for the Millers this season. He is a great rebounder, has a versatile offensive skill set, and defends both 4’s and 5’s well. All of that was on display at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. He uses his size well around the basket to punish smaller defenders while having enough skill to drive it in a straight line against other bigger guys. Definitely one to watch at Noblesville with a high-upside.

Physical two-way forward that uses his size and strength to his advantage really well. Elite rebounder on both ends of the floor. He plays with a high motor and does a good job reading the ball off the rim and rebounding out of his area. Defensively he’s a long and moves his feet well making him a switchable defender. He battles hard for position defensively and does a good job staying vertical while altering and blocking shots. Offensively he has a soft touch around the basket. Showed a capable jump shot out to the three-point line off the catch but does most of his damage fifteen feet and in.

Noblesville High School never has a shortage of talent and that can make it hard for prospects to get noticed early in their careers as they compete for minutes at the varsity level. That makes events like the Sophomore ID Camp important for prospects like Magsamen. We look forward to having the 6’4″-6’5″ forward with impressive physical tools at our upcoming event.
