Fey was a big part of Indiana Impact – Smith 16u’s two wins on Saturday. The 6’3″ guard uses his size well to finish around the basket and take advantage of mismatches off of the dribble. However, he can also stretch the floor out beyond the arc due to his skill level. The Jimtown High School guard scored 22 points in one of the games we watched of his this weekend. One of three very talented pieces from Jimtown in that current sophomore class.

One of the teams we definitely want to check in on this weekend is Indiana Impact – Smith 16u. Fey is one of the stars on that team coming off of a very good sophomore season at Jimtown High School. The 6’3″ guard has good size on the perimeter, uses his physicality to score off of the dribble, and can put pressure on the defense as a shooter.

Dominic’s Indiana Impact team went 1-and-1 in their pair of Saturday games. And he was a clear difference-maker on both ends of the court.
Dominic is a terrific knockdown 3-point shooter. He buried 4 triples on the way to 17 points in a win over Common Bond . And followed that with another 4 deep balls in a loss to The Academy .
Dominic’s smooth stroke from beyond the arc is paired with a natural ability to distribute the ball to his teammates; he has no problem giving up the ball when there may be a chance that another player could get a slightly better shot.
On the other side of the floor, he leads a unit that creates absolute havoc for opposing offenses. He forces good players to make mistakes; and his reach gives him a lot of opportunities to pile up rebounds.

Jimtown lost quite a bit from their Semi-State team a year ago, but a couple of talented sophomores stepped up to fill in the gaps. One of those sophomores was this talented 6’2″ guard that averaged 12.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for the 15-9 Jimmies. Fey is a good athlete with positional size on the perimeter that flashed impressive playmaking chops throughout the season.

Friday night was our first opportunity to see this sophomore prospect since the summer and he certainly showed out. Fey was connecting on jump shot after jump shot and used his size well when attacking the rim to finish. He finished with an impressive 24 points and 6 rebounds for Jimtown in their tough 61-54 loss to Bremen.

Skilled perimeter scorer that knows how to put the ball in the basket. Effortless motion from distance. He did a good job of always being on balance and shot ready when stationary or when running off a screen. Defensively he rebounded at a high level and was vocal on that end of the floor as well.

Jimtown High School reached the Class 2A North Semi-State last season losing to eventual state champion Manchester by one point. This 6’2″ athletic guard was able to get some consistent varsity experience for that team averaging 2.1 points per game and now should be ready to step into a much larger role as a sophomore. We look forward to having Fey at our Sophomore ID Camp.

comes to mind. I got a chance to watch Jimtown in June at Charlie Hughes and Fey was one of the players that I didn’t know about a ton before, but left wanting to see more of him. He is a well-rounded offensive player that can do a lot both on and off the ball with microwave scoring potential in any game he is in. Jimtown is going to be a tough team all season, and Fey will lead the charge for them.

Be ready for this 6’1″ guard to step into a big role as a sophomore at Jimtown High School. He displayed his well-rounded offensive skill set at the GRBA National Championship with a 35-point outburst for Indiana Impact 15u on Saturday. Fey shoots it very well from three-point range and has an impressive pop of athleticism that he uses to finish at the end of his drives or elevate to score in the mid-range.
