One of three excellent sophomore guards from Jimtown High School for Indiana Impact – Smith 16u, Woolwine shot the ball extremely well all weekend long. His shot-making ability pairs very well with his teammates who provide some playmaking, size, etc. He made five three-point shots in one of the games that we had a chance to watch on Saturday at the Havoc in the Heartland.

An under-the-radar guard that impressed over the weekend was Jackson Woolwine Jackson Woolwine 5'8" | PG Jimtown | 2028 IN for Indiana Impact . A scrappy grad that made plays both on the outside and in the lane. Really was impressed with his energy in the early start of the day.

Jimtown High School is a team I’m high on, and one player who should be an important piece for them is sophomore point guard Jackson Woolwine Jackson Woolwine 5'8" | PG Jimtown | 2028 IN . Likely to handle the ball frequently this season, Woolwine showed excellent court vision and did a great job driving and kicking out to the open man. He also displayed sticky defense, which should translate well into the upcoming season.

Woolwine got his feet wet at the varsity level for Jimtown last season as a freshman but now is ready to step into a much larger role as a sophomore. The floor general style point guard is coming off of a strong summer with Indiana Impact and has proven himself as a talented playmaker. Listed at around 5’11”, Woolwine is a talented point guard out of Jimtown High School. When it came to guards that had a similar build, Woolwine stood out to me as one of the smarter players out of that bunch at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase over the weekend. He displayed some real sharp passes and was very unselfish with the ball. In 5-on-5 action he knocked down a three-point shot and scored it off of a throw ahead in transition.
