Gotten to see the Bishop Chatard Forward several times in the last year and I have a feeling he is about to explode onto the scene. Skilled left handed forward that has the ability to stretch the floor from the perimeter. Has great length underneath that allows him to impact the game in the paint on the defensive end as a shot blocker as well as an improving rebounder.

While Bishop Chatard overall has had a rough season up to this point, they have one of the more intriguing prospects in junior big man

. At a long 6’10”, McCormack is a versatile big man with intriguing physical tools and skill. He is averaging over 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game up to this point while also being impactful on the defensive end. A big man to keep an eye one this last month of the season.

One of the more impressive all-around players I watched last week was Bishop Chatard’s junior power forward

. I was real impressed with what he was able to do in the summer for Team Indiana on the AAU circuit and that carried into this high school season. Being a lanky 6-foot-10, McCormack has the length and skill to be a real mismatch being able to play in the post and stretch out to wing. He is a face-up big that has a smooth jumper and is always someone you have to watch when it comes to being an abover-the-rim finisher. One of the top under-the-radar bigs in the state.

We wrote quite a bit about McCormack over the course of the summer because he simply continued to impress us with his development. Whether it was with EG10 on the summer circuit, at the “The Expo” hosted by us at Prep Hoops Indiana, or at various college showcase events he was consistently one of the more intriguing big men in attendance. The 6’9″ lefty has skill out to the perimeter and has upside as a shot blocker. He should have a big junior year for Bishop Chatard.

Over the course of the last few months there haven’t been many Class of 2027 prospects impress us as much as this 6’9″ forward/center from Bishop Chatard. McCormack is a long, lean lefty that can stretch the floor out beyond the three-point arc. He is effective inside too and can protect the rim, but that part of his game will improve even more as he gets stronger. His three-point shooting and size though make him a very intriguing prospect to follow.

We just wrote about McCormack yesterday as he was one of the standouts at “The Expo” host by us at Prep Hoops Indiana on Sunday. The 6’9″ left-handed forward/center from Bishop Chatard turned around on Sunday and was once again a top performer at Marian University’s Elite Camp. The way he shoots it at his size is really, really impressive. McCormack is quickly becoming a very intriguing prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2027.

and each time I’ve come away more impressed than the last time. The 6’9” stretch big from Bishop Chatard is a fluid athlete that is only scratching the surface of what he could be. Has a thin frame, but his skill set for his size is very intriguing. Has the ability to step out and hit the three, which he did multiple times on Sunday. Hes a good screen setter where he does a good job of either popping out or rolling hard to the basket where he can finish above the rim or with a soft touch. Defensively he’s a good rim protector with his length and an improbing rebounder.

High upside big that affected the game on both ends of the floor. Still a bit raw offensively, but set good screens and rolled hard to the basket. Also looked capable as a pick and pop big man from the perimeter. Defensively is where he stood out with his length and ability to move his feet and stay in front of guards on switches.
