We have written about Sahm a lot lately which is usually one sign of a stock-riser. The 6’3″ Ohio Dominican commit is quite simply one of the best pure shooters in the state of Indiana at this point. Sahm had a great junior season averaging over 15 points per game at Bishop Chatard, but really broke out as a prospect this summer and fall. He was one of our biggest rankings stock-risers improving from #71 to #32 in the Class of 2027.

One of the biggest stock-risers in the state of Indiana over the last few months has been this 6’3″ guard from Bishop Chatard High School. It doesn’t seem like Sahm has missed a catch-and-shoot three-point shot in that entire span. The recent Ohio Dominican commit was outstanding on Sunday at the Metro Indy Fall League leading his team to the championship. He poured in 28 points in their first game of the day and then backed it up with 23 points in the title game. Sahm is going to have a big year for Chatard.

Sharpshooting combo guard that is a game changer in a lot of different ways. The Bishop Chatard product had a big summer with Indiana Basketball Club qualifying for 3SSB Championship in July. Confident off the ball shooter that you can’t let get a clean look. On balance shooter with a repeatable stroke. Also shown a nice middle game off the bounce with soft touch. Crafty getting in the lane while also showing solid playmaking skills for others. Fundamentally sound guard that has a chance to be a standout at camp with his offensive skill set and shotmaking.

It has been a very good last six weeks or so for Sahm. He had a big month of June with Bishop Chatard and has picked up where he left off here in July with Indiana Basketball Club 17u. The big 6’3″-6’4″ guard found success once again as a catch-and-shoot threat, but also utilized his size both as a finisher inside and on the glass. Sahm posted a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Fresh off of watching him scoring 32 points last Friday at the Indiana All-Star Classic, Sahm shot it incredibly well all weekend long at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. He finished the weekend, leading Bishop Chatard to a 4-0 record, shooting 17-25 from three-point range and averaged 19 points per game. His positional size and shooting ability has led to him being a real stock-riser this summer and especially this weekend.

Sahm had a big junior season for Bishop Chatard, but Friday was probably as well as we have seen him play. The 6’3″ guard utilized his positional size and strength to get some things done off of the dribble, but it was his three-point shooting that really took his performance to another level. He caught fire from beyond the arc making all six of his three-point shots in the final 10 minutes or so of the game. Sahm went on to finish with an impressive 32 points in the game.

He’s a knockdown shooter that did a really nice job of relocating and hitting shots off the move. Smooth handle that plays on balance and can take contact of drives. Has good size and length where he can get his shot off in the midrange over practically anyone.

A long 6’3” wing that has been really good this spring helping lead Indiana Basketball Club qualify for 3SSB Championship in July. He’s a talented scorer that does damage from all three level. Smooth stroke from the perimeter shooting 53%| this spring. Really good midrange scorer that gets to his spot. Fundamentally sound player on both sides of the ball that impacts the game in a variety of different ways.

One of the bigger stock-risers in the Indiana Class of 2027 is Ari Sahm Ari Sahm 6'4" | SG Indianapolis Chatard | 2027 State IN out of Bishop Chatard High School. He has been one of the best backcourt pieces for Indiana Basketball Club this spring with his great play on the ball. At 6’3, Sahm is very strong in the lane while being able to knock the mid-range jumper at a solid level. One of the best guards that will compete at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament.

Following a strong junior season that saw him average 15.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game at Bishop Chatard, Sahm has played well for a very successful Indiana Basketball Club 17u team. The 6’3″ guard has a good combination of positional size, strength, and athleticism on the perimeter. He is a strong driver, capable mid-range scorer, and a good rebounder from the perimeter. Sahm is another under-the-radar name that had a very good showing down in Texas and is one to follow heading into the summer.
