of West Lafayette HS. Vogt is a super long wing with one of the smoothest shooting strokes you will find in his age group. He does a good job of finding the open spot behind the arc and always have his hands ready to get a shot off. Just a super consistent outside threat.

His combination of size and shooting ability has already established him as one of the top prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2028. High potential scoring wing that flat out shoots the cover off the ball. Effortless release with deep range, Jace Vogt was the best shooter I saw today. Really good positional size, he showed off his full offensive arsenal being able to score from all three levels.

Another one of the top ranked prospects to attend our Sophomore ID Camp, Vogt once again proved himself as one of the top catch-and-shoot threats in the Class of 2028. He impressed at our event with his ability to make perimeter shots in a variety of ways. We saw him pick-and-pop, ghost into a pop, and spot up away from the ball as a floor spacer. Vogt was able to knockdown three-point shots from each of those spots. The 6’5″ guard from West Lafayette High School already possesses good positional size to match his shooting ability.

One of the highest ranked players, so far, to sign up for our Sophomore ID Camp, Vogt is arguably the best catch-and-shoot threat in Indiana’s Class of 2028. He averaged 7.8 points per game as a freshman at West Lafayette High School while shooting an incredible 46-89 (51.7%) from three-point range. We are very excited to have Vogt at our showcase.

Already ranked #12 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings, Vogt is vastly overqualified for normal “stock-riser” status. However, he played as well over the weekend at UAA Session II as we have seen him play this spring. Not only did the 6’5″ guard shoot it well as he normally does, but Vogt also found success attacking closeouts and scoring from two-point range. He appeared a bit more fluid athletically than we had seen in the past.

If you are looking for one of the best pure shooters in Indiana’s Class of 2028 look no further than West Lafayette High School. Vogt really burst onto the scene back during the Metro Indy Fall League where he more than held his own while playing with and against some of the top players in the state. Now, the 6’4″ freshman is having an excellent season and continues to shoot the lights out.
