Abraham turned in a productive performance during the second game I watched him play over the weekend. He embraced his role and made a consistent impact by scoring efficiently around the basket, finishing plays without forcing the action. Defensively, he showed good timing as a rim protector, contesting shots effectively while also using his instincts to jump passing lanes and create turnovers. The biggest key to his continued development is consistency. If he can continue stacking productive performances and maintain this level of play on a regular basis, his stock will continue to rise. Abraham is a prospect who should be on the radar of division two programs and prep schools, and a move to the class of 2028 could provide additional time for his game to develop and further elevate his recruiting profile.
Defensively alters shots and contests at the rim with true size as a 5 man. Anchors in the paint with interior presence because of wing span. Offensively shows fundamentals on the low block and will help establish position to take advantage of size mis matches. Runs the floor at a solid rate for position keeping pace with break phases. Will kick out to shooters after getting paint touches. A coachable big that will impact.
Moeller will play for the GCL-South title on Friday night against rival St Xavier and Abraham will be a crucial piece for the Crusaders in this contest. In the first meeting this season Abraham had seven blocks. The defensive end of the court is where I’m most intrigued with Abraham as he also has a game this season with six steals. Hoping to see Abraham find his confidence again offensively after starting the season with some big games against out of state teams. Look for Abraham to be seen by a ton of college coaches this summer at the scholarship level due to his size, defensive impact and foot speed.
Despite the loss, Abraham was one of the most impressive players on the court as the Moeller forward showed his impressive combination of foot speed, rim protection and offensive skill. The flashes Abraham showed are extremely bright and his key will be making plays on a consistent basis. Lots of talent with this 2027 prospect who should see a recruiting spike this summer.
A prospect who continues to improve each time I see him, Abraham did a dirty work at an impressive rate on Saturday. Cleaning up at both ends of the court on the glass and using active hands on defense for steals and blocks, Abraham was utilizing his physical tools. Add in a couple rebounds where Abraham wasn’t able to secure the basketball but still tapped it out to a teammate and those types of selfless plays stood out for a prospect who is going to be fighting for minutes in a crowded Moeller frontcourt. Moeller also ran a zone defense at times on Saturday and Abraham used his length as a deterrent for drivers coming down the lane. Abraham is a prospect who college coaches should get very familiar with this summer.
Moeller has a lot of young talent and Abraham is an under the radar name that could break out this season. Abraham broke out this summer on the Made Hoops Circuit with Midwest MHC Cincy 16 U. Abraham can move his feet defensively well for his size and has the length to be an impact shot blocker and rebounder. If Abraham can impact the game offensively, he could be a surprise player this winter in the GCL-South.
Abraham is a rangy forward who had a nose for making things happen on either end of the floor. He runs the floor effortlessly and looks like he is gliding through clouds when moving. I’m intrigued by some of the face-up flashes he showed he has in his arsenal. Abraham showed off his athletic gifts throughout the game I evaluated of him. He has good timing going up for blocks and is in the right spots to shag rebounds. Abraham was able to capitalize off of 2nd chance efforts. He is developing with time and has a ton of untapped potential. He is a prospect low and mid majors should prioritize if they are in need of a big in 2027.
