The second Centennial player to be featured in our standouts from this workout, the Stars had a bunch of future college players on their 2025-26 roster. Bonner found success as a driver, in both half-court and transition situations. Bonner had a couple nice reverse layups and also hit a nice pivot move to squeeze past a defender for an easy finish. Lots of upside with Bonner as he continues to improve as an offensive player with impressive physical tools.

Centennial is a team on the rise in the Columbus City League and Bonner is one of their marquee prospects to watch. The wing forward caught fire in an early season win over Columbus Academy scoring 27 points. Bonner’s perimeter growth is noticeable and he’s showing counters off the dribble. Excited to see how the Columbus City League plays out as there’s a handful of talented teams that will fight for the city league title.

One of the top athletes at the camp, Bonner was showcasing his slashing ability with quick twitch change of direction moves to overpower defenders at the rim. When Bonner was cut off, he hit a nasty up and under move to get the defender in the air and easily score. I’ve also noticed steady improvement from Bonner as a 3-point shooter, now having the confidence to quickly fire away from the top of the key as well as the corners. Bonner is on an upward trajectory right now and looks like one of the most intriguing players in the Columbus city league.

I thought Bonner had some nice moments with All Ohio Red in Memphis last weekend as he didn’t look out of place as an athlete on an EYBL 16 U court and made some nice hustle plays and even stretched the floor for a couple 3-pointers. Centennial is a program on the rise and with players like Bonner returning next season, they should be one of the top teams in the Columbus city league.

Bonner has an impressive frame and physical tools for a forward of his age. Already able to bang in the paint for rebounds and be physical on both ends, Bonner looks like an upperclassmen physically. With a couple offensive rebounds and putbacks, Bonner was active around the rim on Saturday. Add in smooth jump-shot mechanics and a few baseline shots and Bonner has some skills to work with in the future. Name to know in central Ohio’s 2027 class.
