Wolford broke out in front of me at the Ohio State team camp, Wolford is a stretch big who has the size and shooting ability that a lot of college programs are looking for. Getting better as the season went on, Wolford scored 16 points in a playoff victory over Mount Vernon and is now ready to be the main man as a junior. Expect to hear a lot about Wolford this winter from fans and coaches across central Ohio.
Wolford can shoot the ball at a high level at 6’7, that immediately makes me interested in what his potential is at the college level. Wolford ran off screens and also spotted up to space the floor. For Wolford, adding strength in the weight room and getting continued reps offensively against other players with size on the interior. If Wolford can become more of a threat on the interior, he’ll be a more well-rounded forward for his team. Very intriguing long term upside prospect.
