Midwest Pumas CC had a solid start to their weekend despite missing multiple key players from the spring. Tolliver was a nice pickup as he made a couple nice cuts to score and was unselfish in making the extra pass for his teammates. While he’s an impressive perimeter shooter, with his height and length, Tolliver can be tough to stop as a cutter as well scoring at the rim. Not forcing the issue is a skill a bunch of players struggle with during live periods and I felt like Tolliver played within himself and helped his team compete against some top talent this weekend.

Grove City got a nice win as the Greyhounds have had a fast start to the 2025-26 season. I liked that Tolliver crashed the offensive glass, using his height and length to his advantage. On one possession Tolliver had multiple offensive rebounds to help create extra shots for his team. Tolliver also had a couple easy assists with advances up the court in transition. Add in his perimeter shooting and ability to attack closeouts and it’s easy to see why Tolliver is one of the top wing guards in central Ohio’s 2027 class.

for Grove City who I expect to be one of the most improved teams in central Ohio this winter. Tolliver’s length and shooting ability also gives him long term upside and the ability to play a role at the college level early on.

A lefty wing guard with impressive length, positional size and perimeter shooting ability, Tolliver checks a handful of boxes that small college programs immediately look for when recruiting wings. Tolliver already made an impact for an up and coming Grove City program that’s on the rise and should be a leading option next season as well. Starting to play above the rim for Run As One 16 U this spring, Tolliver had some impressive highlights from their event at fieldhouse USA. Definitely a name to keep an eye on in central Ohio’s 2027 class.

Tolliver is a player who has attended both our freshman showcase last year and the sophomore showcase this year. The lefty has improved his frame since the last time I watched him 12 months ago. The lefty had a couple nice moves as a driver including an up and under and a putback layup. With good length and a nice set shot, Tolliver has some skills that intrigue me as he prepares for his sophomore season at Grove City.
