McCutchan made a solid impact for Moeller last season on the hardwood as just a Sophomore. McCutchan appeared in 21 games and averaged 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He’s known around the GCL-South as one of the top tight ends in the area. McCutchan holds numerous Division I football offers and has 15 catches for 183 yards and a touchdown for the 7-1 Crusaders.

Another football first athlete, McCutchan is ranked as a three star as a tight end with offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Purdue and more. Also talented on the hardwood, McCutchan would follow in a line of GCL-South gridiron standouts who also found ways to be valuable high school basketball players. With good size, physicality and rebounding, many football skills translate to the hardwood for McCutchan. Combine these skills with the ability to score in the paint efficiently and soft hands, McCutchan will be a valuable piece for the Crusaders.

A physical power forward, McCutchan had a ton of points off layups in the dunker spot and using his size and strength to get offensive rebounds. A football body, McCutchan already holds an offer from Kentucky on the Gridiron. With the amount of talent Moeller has, McCutchan doesn’t need to do anything complex to impact winning. While I expect McCutchan to receive most of his college interest in football, that won’t stop him from being a productive high school player for the Crusaders for the next few seasons.
