Moeller was without a couple of pieces which allowed me to catch some new faces in action. I came away impressed with Barber, a multi-sport athlete who has a strong base and frame. The rising sophomore forward impressed me with his strength, feel for the game and soft touch on mid-range jumpers and layups at the rim. The type of player who helps you win high school games, Barber checks a handful of boxes for his team and isn’t afraid to do the dirty work. On a team stacked with top talent, it’s crucial for Moeller’s role players do play to their role and help their team win and that’s exactly what I saw from Barber on Saturday.

Finishing with 17 points, his impact was felt all over the court for Make It Rain 15U! Barber is the ultimate competitor who loves to take his matchup one-on-one and go at them offensively. Most of Brody’s offense came from the paint and in the midrange, but he also managed to display his elite shooting stroke from deep hitting a 3-pointer! At his size and age, he is truly a luxury to have on your basketball team and Make It Rain 15U is glad they had a stellar performance from him in a very close game. I loved what I saw on both ends of the floor from Barber in the 15U championship win 72-71 at THE CLOSER!
