A really nice game for Arlinghaus who made an impact off the bench as a scorer. The skilled forward made a nice move along the baseline for an and-1 finish and looked confident with the ball in his hands. One of the top shooters on the All Ohio Red 16 U group, Arlinghaus provides valuable floor spacing when he’s on the court. With a lot of offensive talent for a player of his height, I’d expect Arlinghaus to be a breakout player on varsity for Moeller next season.

Arlinghaus is a nice throwback player with a modern touch to his game. He is a big body player with great footwork and patience around the rim. He has a nice touch in the paint. His spin move is his go-to, and it’s tough to stop. He is a monster on the boards but can push the ball coast to coast. He has a nice handle on the ball. Showing the modern skill he also possesses.

One of the top stretch forwards in the 2028 class, Arlinghaus can knock down perimeter shots at an efficient rate against tough competition. For All Ohio Red , Arlinghaus was catching and shooting the ball with confidence on the 15 U EYBL circuit. I’ve mentioned before how stacked Moeller’s 2028 and 2029 classes are and Arlinghaus is a key building block for the future. If you can make shots at Arlinghaus size, you will have interested college programs by the time you get to your senior year.

My last game of the night was All Ohio Red 15 U and they played a competitive game with Nj Scholars before falling to wrap up their EYBL regular season. All Ohio Red had some bright moments offensively with 10 made 3-pointers as a team. Arlinghaus can space the floor as a big with a smooth pick and pop game or just by spotting up in the corner. Also finishing with three offensive rebounds, Arlinghaus could’ve had a 4th that ended in a putback layup but was called for a soft foul on the play. Showing impressive offensive upside, Arlinghaus is just another name that Moeller has for the new few seasons as their program could be back at the top of southwest Ohio once their young talent gains experience.

For his height and age, I was really impressed with the overall skill level and fluid movement Arlinghaus showed me on Sunday morning. Able to stretch the floor with pull-up 3-pointers and a couple above the break 3’s, Arlinghaus was spacing the court for his team. Combine that with the ability to make himself available on the baseline for 5-8 foot shots and impressive ball handling ability and Arlinghaus looks like a name Cincinnati area hoops fans will become very familiar with over the next four seasons.
