A physical force on the interior, Julius is a throwback style big who is assertive in the paint. Looking to use his size and strength to his advantage, Julius crashed the offense glass hard and sealed his man a few times under the basket for quick catch and finishes. A player who got better as the game went on, Julius had a monster second half that included a couple big dunks that got his [program_tooltip program_id='2078446' first='Georgia' last='Stars'] teammates hyped on the bench. While Julius is still a work in progress with his skill development, he did show soft touch at the charity stripe and knows what he is offensively. A name for high major programs to monitor in Georgia's 2028 class.

A wing guard who was maybe the most efficient shooter I saw all day, McCullough was 7/9 from the field and 4/5 from 3-point range in a big [program_tooltip program_id='2078446' first='Georgia' last='Stars'] 16 U win. McCullough shot the ball with confidence from the wing and helped [program_tooltip program_id='2078446' first='Georgia' last='Stars'] gain an early lead. McCullough also made a nice deceleration move off the dribble and scored a breakaway layup off a steal, making an impact with his athleticism.

To open the game, Jones looked rushed by the athleticism and pressure of the [program_tooltip program_id='2078446' first='Georgia' last='Stars'] defense but after a shaky first few minutes, Jones settled down and ended up being one of the best players on the floor for the contest. Jones has quick hands defensively and got a couple steals that helped start fast break opportunities. Jones also got to his spots in the mid-range and hit some tough shots at the end of the shot clock for his team. I like that Jones can attack with both hands and once he gets more explosive, he should be able to play above the rim easier. One of the top wing guards in Ohio's 2028 class, Jones is a name that mid major programs should be getting their eyes on this summer.

A really nice game for Arlinghaus who made an impact off the bench as a scorer. The skilled forward made a nice move along the baseline for an and-1 finish and looked confident with the ball in his hands. One of the top shooters on the [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] 16 U group, Arlinghaus provides valuable floor spacing when he's on the court. With a lot of offensive talent for a player of his height, I'd expect Arlinghaus to be a breakout player on varsity for Moeller next season.

One of the top shooters in New York, Proudfoot is coming off a high school season where he was named BCANY Class AAA player of the year for Corning. Proudfoot doesn't need much time or space to be able to fire away from way downtown and he hit some ridiculous shots from the top of the key on Saturday morning. With his shooting ability, the defense tries to run Proudfoot off the line whenever possible which allows him to create an advantage against hard closeouts. Proudfoot showed the ability to make an extra pass after being ran off the line to continue to swing the ball for his team. Talented 2028 shooter for schools to monitor.

I liked how aggressive Parris was at scoring in the paint and working around the rim. Parris scored off a BLOB set, got a layup as a roll man after setting a ball screen and scored off a cut to the basket for his team. Late in the fourth quarter Parris knocked down a big 3-pointer Vs Boo Williams. City Rocks 16 U ended up going 2-2 this weekend and looks like a team that will be competitive in basically every game they play thanks to their balanced scoring and ball movement.

Boo Williams went 2-1 on the weekend and Cook made some nice plays as a defender and rebounder for his group. The wing forward crashed the glass well on both ends and has the grab and go ability to start the fast break after securing the rebound. Cook blocked a shot as a help-side rim protector early in the game I caught and did a really good job getting to the foul line as well. Cook also threw a handful of potential assists that weren't converted by his teammates, but his passing was much better than his assist numbers would suggest. For Cook, making more shots on the perimeter and at the rim should be the key as he did a lot of complimentary stuff well this weekend for a winning team.
