Parris, a guard out of the South Kent School in Connecticut, jumped 74 spots in this update and now sits at #42 overall in the rankings. The 6’4″ guard is a versatile playmaker that impacts games on both ends of the floor. He can operate on or off the ball, has the ability to score with his atheticism and length around the rim, and does a nice job of making plays for others off the bounce. Defensively, he has terrific measurables and physical traits, allowing him to be a lockdown perimeter defender. He’ll play his travel ball this spring and summer with The City Rocks.

I liked how aggressive Parris was at scoring in the paint and working around the rim. Parris scored off a BLOB set, got a layup as a roll man after setting a ball screen and scored off a cut to the basket for his team. Late in the fourth quarter Parris knocked down a big 3-pointer Vs Boo Williams. City Rocks 16 U ended up going 2-2 this weekend and looks like a team that will be competitive in basically every game they play thanks to their balanced scoring and ball movement.

Parris, a guard out of the South Kent School in Connecticut, checks in at #20 among the shooting guards and #116 overall. Admittedly, upon further reflection, we’ve probably under-rated Parris here, as the sophomore has been one of the best perimeter shooters in this class through the first half of the season. The 6’3″ can really light it up in catch and shoot situations, and, as defenses have adjusted to his shooting ability, he’s shown that he’s capable of putting the ball on the floor and finishing at the rim with both length and touch. He’s a prospect to monitor this winter and should be a major stock riser in our next update.

Parris, a guard out of the South Kent School in Connecticut, checks in at #75 overall and #15 among the shooting guards. Parris is a big guard with plus length that can really make plays with the basketball in his hands. He does a great job of reading the defense out of ball screens and DHO actions, showing the ability to turn the corner and get all the way to the rim. He’s got a deep scoring package and, with his length, is capable of finishing over size in the paint. Defensively, he makes plays in passing lanes that lead to easy run outs and can impact games on the defensive glass.

has tantalizing offensive potential. He made some great passes both in transition and in the half court and looked comfortable running an offense. He also showed off his tight handle, defensive mobility, and his three shot.
