Ibrahim, a guard out of the South Kent School in Connecticut, has the ability to knock down perimeter jumpers at an elite level. The 6’4″ guard does a nice job of sliding off drives into open passing windows, has a quick release on his jumper, and elevates to get his shot off over defenders. His ability to shot fake and then get into his mid-range game adds another dimension to his offensive game. Defensively, he has the ability to guard any spot on the perimeter and shows good instincts when making plays in rotations.

He started the first game I saw and came off the bench today. What a spark plug to have off the bench and responded well being the 6th man. Brilliant performance with four 3’s all off the catch but in various locations and in transition. He shot well from the charity strike as well going 7/9. One more year for Begad but has upside and D2/D3 schools will be lucky to have him. If he continues to improve he can be a starter on South Kent and be one of their top scorers.

and therefore needed a scoring punch from someone else. The 6-foot-4 wing showed off the ability to score at all three levels; he has a nice-looking shot from the mid range and three, but he also does a good job using his burst and length on drives to the rim. The junior also has a knack for getting to the free throw line and converting from there, and he held his own on the boards and defensively all weekend, especially in a nice win against a talented Darrow team. Ibrahim should be on the cusp of getting some scholarship looks once the time comes.

Ibrahim is a meaningful contributor for a high-level prep school squad at South Kent. The 6-foot-4 guard can shoot it from three, but he also does a really good job attacking closeouts and finishing at the rim—he’s especially adept at the wrong-footed righty finish, and he often throws off big men with this move. Ibrahim has the size, athleticism and shooting ability required for high level D3 pr perhaps even scholarship ball, but he’ll have to put it together with more feel for the game and better passing instincts. I can see it happening.

Ibrahim, a 6’4″ guard out of the South Kent School in Connecticut, makes his first appearance in the 2027 rankings on the Watch List. Ibrahim is a crafty scorer that does a nice job of playing at different speeds off the bounce, while also showing a deep scoring package around the rim. He’s a capable playmaker with the ball in his hands that can make tough shots in isolation situations. On the other end of the floor, he’s able to guard up and down a position and uses his athleticism as a rim protector when coming from the help side.
