The 2026 17u season is over. Hill was not just a top Minnesota scorer for his team, he was listed as a top ten points per game leader in all of 3SSB for a decent amount of time. The state championship point guard has double figure D1 options to pick from and is a Mr. Basketball favorite and a player you have to look at for 17U Player of the Year.

Cronins's explosive finishing, skilled wing play, and consistency of high level production was a big reason [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] was a final four Adidas team this year. The 6'7 Edina wing earned double figure scholarship options and would have likely earned two high major options if he hadn't fell in love with Miami of Ohio (who was 31-1 last year) who he committed to. Cronin has played himself into area where you have to consider him for a Mr. Basketball favorite, 17U Player of the Year, and the top prospect in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126466' first='Kobby' last='Sambrew']'s rim running relentless effort led to him having the option to play for just about anybody in the NSIC and it sounds like Minnesota State-Mankato and Minnesota Duluth are big leaders. Simply put, no Midwest player had the ability to both run with and be big/strong enough to stop Kobby from doing what he wanted to do at the rim. Kobby led the Fury Goring to 40 wins and you could argue he was the 17u MVP of Minnesota.

When it comes to individual impact games [player_tooltip player_id='2126102' first='Jaeden' last='Udean'] in St. Louis ranks with one of the most memorable of the summer. When Dre went to the rim there just wasn't players that had the strength, size and agility combination to consistently deal with him, even at 17u!

Collins is a two sport standout that was all state 16u, all state Class AAA, and now second team all state 17u. Not matter guys have that on their basketball resume.

Third Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2126108' first='Jack' last='Thelen'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (Maple Grove). Jack missed part of the season because of an ankle injury but when he was playing, when D1 got him touches in the paint his efficiency of production was at a very, very high level. I would have to guess he finished 75 percent of paint attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2533408' first='Deon' last='Wallace-Johnson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] (DeLaSalle). Owen really stepped up and took control of this [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] bunch and made them one of the best teams in the state. His fight, attack, and relentless approach lead to 25 [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] wins in 32 games. An impressive improvement from 16u to high school to 17u.

Owen Brezinksi of [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Zurn (Lakeville North). Another player that competes at a high level and gets results for his team. In an era where people are worried about social media clicks and posing after scores, Owen is a guy the colleges like because he is willing to compete against anybody at any time with a high level of fight.

[player_tooltip player_id='2824358' first='Nicholas' last='Taylor'] of Minnesota Lighting (Lanesboro) Nick Taylor should be the poster child for what 17u is all about: he was a Class A all league player on the southern border that pretty much came from nowhere to be one of the elite prospects in this class and is headed to St. Cloud State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956268' first='Shay' last='Jackson'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] (Totino-Grace). [player_tooltip player_id='1956268' first='Shay' last='Jackson'] took another step during spring/summer play that was bigger than one would think. He's just a relentless two way guy that wins. And he leads his team to wins. One of the most well respected players in the state right now.

Fourth Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2126450' first='Gavin' last='Walter'] of Hoop Habits (Champlin Park). Walter helped Hoop Habits to 33 wins with his skill and versatility.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] (Hibbing).
