One of the best slashers in Minnesota’s 2027 class, Dre is just about unstoppable when he gets a full head of steam towards the rim. Throughout the weekend he was throwing down explosive dunks, or slashing from the wing to finish over the top of size. If he sees even the slightest gap to penetrate, Dre is going to attack it. Although his team came up just short in the 17u championship game, Dre’s 24 points had his team in it until the very end.

Dre was a big reason why Select went 4-0 over the weekend in Appleton. He just has that combination of strength, grit, and explosiveness that allows him to get to the rim and finish in ways that most players can’t. There were times where he simply put his head down and bulldozed his way to the basket for two points. Has the athleticism to get up in your face on defense, and with Select’s run-n-gun play-style he’s able to get out in the open floor for a lot of transition opportunities. He threw down some high flying dunks in the games I watched.
